Note from Sandy: Through the weaving of
the following contributions, you will see
the Lord is taking His people on a journey
where our lives are planted as seeds of
corn, which become ripe (fully mature) and
fruitful (to be utilized) for the Kingdom.
For those who are willing to continue the
journey, their fruitful corn nuggets become
a sacrifice through death to self and are
then dried by the fire in order to multiply
into an even greater harvest. I believe
these prophetical Words also reveal a
journey for those in the coming harvest.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a
corn of wheat fall into the ground and die,
it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth
forth much fruit." (KJV John 12:24)

[1] Planting
Vision given to Shirley on 5/4/93
I
saw fresh plowed ground. It had been raked
and rows dug for planting. Some corn seeds
had been planted, but were not yet covered
with dirt.
"And he spake many things unto them in
parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth
to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell
by the way side, and the fowls came and
devoured them up: Some fell upon stony
places, where they had not much earth: and
forthwith they sprung up, because they had
no deepness of earth: And when the sun was
up, they were scorched; and because they had
no root, they withered away. And some fell
among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and
choked them: But other fell into good
ground, and brought forth fruit, some an
hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some
thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him
hear." (Math 13: 3-9)
[2] Growing
Shibboleth is a Process of Growing Stronger
and Stronger - Experience given to Grandma
Anna 9/2/81:
I
was very ill in bed suffering the terrible
weakness of the aftermath of a hypoglycemic
coma. While three ladies were praying over
me, suddenly I knew in my spirit that the
Lord had a Word for me. One of them began to
stutter a strange word: "You will have the
strength of shibboleth." She stuttered over
the word shibboleth. I began to whisper, "I
will have the strength of Shibboleth." As I
continued to whisper this, more and more
strength came to my voice, and I was able to
rise out of bed in increasing stages. I
finally said with a very strong voice, "I
will have the strength of Shibboleth!" Such
strength came to me that I walked down the
hall much to everyone’s joyful amazement.
Because the word shibboleth sounded
familiar, we looked it up in the Strong’s
Concordance. We were surprised to discover
that in the verse where shibboleth is
spoken, that person stuttered over saying it
too! We wondered what the Lord could be
speaking by way of such an amazing allegory.
"Then said they unto him, Say now
Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he
could not frame to pronounce it right..."
(Judges 12:6)

Shibboleth
(Gen 41:5-7, 22-27, Jud 12:6, Isa 27:12,
Zech 4:12., etc)
SHIBBOLETH: A Hebrew
word denoting the growing or flowing out
process.
(The King James version uses the words ears
of corn instead of ears of grain and the
Lord has built upon the corn idea as a
riddle for Shibboleth. Corn as we know it
was not grown in the Bible lands.)

[3] Harvesting
Heard and saw given to Shirley on 7/9/94:
I
saw piles of corn still in the husks and
heard the Lord say, "The time of harvest has
begun."
[4] Harvesting
Generation X Will be Harvested With Mercy -
Dream excerpt given to Dale 3/5/97:
I
am in what appears to be a cornfield but
instead of stalks of corn there are rows and
rows of young people. They are dirty and
ragged. I am walking in and among the rows
praying and prophesying. I do not remember
what I said at first but as I continued to
walk among the cornfield of youth, the
Spirit of the Lord came upon me and I began
crying out, "Mercy triumphs over judgment!"
I said this several times and then I noticed
a young lady about 18 years old. She had a
look of purity about her. Without thought I
picked her up and began to run with her over
my shoulder crying out, "Mercy triumphs over
judgment!"
Possible Interpretation
From Dale: The Lord is getting ready
to bring in a great harvest. We have been
praying and marching (doing warfare) in
among the cornfield of souls now for years.
The Lord is sending a Spirit of purity to
the church. We are to pick it up and run
with it in a spirit of intercession with a
heart cry of, "Mercy triumphs over
judgment!"
"For judgment will be merciless to one who
has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over
judgment." (James 2:13 NKJ)
"For the earth bringeth forth fruit of
herself: first the blade, then the ear,
after that the full corn in the ear. But
when the fruit is brought forth, immediately
he putteth in the sickle, because the
harvest is come." (Mark 4:28)
[5] Husking -
Peeling away
Husking Makes the Full Grown Corn Manifest -
Given to Sandy Warner on 6/6/95:
As I was fixing dinner I heard the Lord say,
"long-legged." I thought that was a strange
Word and questioned Him about it. Then He
opened my eyes to what I was doing. I was
husking corn. Long-legged is a riddle for
the word, "Shibboleth" which is a Hebrew
word meaning the growing forth, as in ears
of grain. The removal of one’s husk is the
process of uncovering, revealing or making
the fruit manifest. For notes on Shibboleth
see above Word study.
[6] Tested &
Dried
Ears of Corn Dried For Future Use
Excerpts given to Grandma Anna on 7/28/94: I
heard the Lord say, "Ears coming. Big ones.
Elephant ears. Just a little longer. Dry as
a bone. Tested and tried. Occupied. Corn
chips. Shibboleth. Dried and edible. Ground
to powder. You will see. Prayers answered."
[7]
Sacrificing
Death to Self of First Fruit - Given to
Grandma Anna on 7/15/93:
I
heard the Lord say, "You are of My green
ears of corn, dried by the fire, even corn
beaten out of full ears."
"And if thou offer a meat offering of thy
firstfruits unto the Lord, thou shalt offer
for the meat offering of thy firstfruits
green ears of corn dried by the fire, even
corn beaten out of full ears." (Lev 2:14)
[8] Sacrifices
made manifest
Corn Cobs Manifest & Sent - Vision given to
Sandy Warner on 3/13/85:
I
was playing "The Battle Hymn of the
Republic" on the piano. The music was heard
in the throne room and not on earth.
(Inter-cession) Suddenly ears of corn fell
from heaven. I saw them plunge into the
ground like spears, head first. As I gazed
at the corn, I saw a turtledove inside each
ear. They appeared lifeless and immobile.
Just as I was wondering if they were dead,
the husks peeled away and out of each ear
popped a turtledove. It was as though they
had waited until the right time to come
forth. When they came forth, each popped out
in their own timing, however they all came
forth in the same season. I heard the Lord
say to me the Word, "Shibboleth." Then He
referred me to Song of Solomon, 2:12 "The
flowers appear on the earth; the time of the
singing of birds is come, and the voice of
the turtle (dove) is heard in the land."
Possible Interpretation from Sandy:
Turtledoves represent sacrifice in the Old
Testament. Shibboleth is a riddle for those
sons who have come to full maturity and are
then offered as sacrifices for the Kingdom
of God. Their lives will bear multiplied
fruit. The peeling away of the husks is the
manifestation of His sons as they go forth
upon the earth. "Verily, verily, I say unto
you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the
ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it
die, it bringeth forth much fruit." (John
12: 24) "For the earnest expectation of the
creature waiteth for the manifestation of
the sons of God." (Rom 8:19)

BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC:
(Julia W. Howe, 1819-1910
(American melody att. To William Steffe,
1952-)
"Mine eyes have seen the glory
of the coming of the Lord;
He is tramping out the vintage
where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning
of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
I have seen Him in the watch-fires
of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar
in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence
by the dim and flaring lamps;
His day is marching on,
I have read a fiery gospel,
writ in burnish rows of steel;
As ye deal with My contemners,
so with you My grace shall deal;
Let the Hero, born of woman,
crush the serpent with his heel;
Since God is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet
that shall never sound retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men
before His judgment seat.
Be swift, my soul, to answer Him!
be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.
In the beauty of the lilies
Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom
that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy,
let us live to make men free;
While God is marching on.
Glory! Glory hallelujah
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on."

Dried Ears Will be Reconstituted - Given to
Grandma Anna on 9/2/94:
I
heard the Lord say, "Green ears of corn
dried by the fire. I will reconstitute. No
man knows the hour or the day save the
Father."
"Repent ye therefore,
and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out, when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord;
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before
was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must
receive until the times of restitution
[605] of all things, which God hath
spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began." (Acts 3:19-21)

One Dried Corn Seed Becomes a Thousand -
Given to Grandma Anna on 8/17/93:
I
heard the Lord say, "Where did they go? Ask
them. Shibboleth. Very dry. Waited a long
time. Were reconstituted. Watch out!" Then I
saw ears of corn. Each little kernel had
wings. Then He said, "A little one becomes a
thousand. Right in front of your eyes."

Popped Popcorn Vision given to Sandy Warner

I
saw popped popcorn. This is His Word for
those of Shibboleth, that were set to dry by
the fire, then heated with the oil of the
Holy Spirit.

Our Church Blooms Popcorn
Dream given to Barbara in May 1997: We were
at church on a work day. The women were
working inside the church and doing a little
remodeling or changing some things in the
church. Outside, the men were building a
wall that seemed to be a wall for
protection. It was not yet completed and I
had the impression that it might eventually
end up going clear down the driveway to the
street. The wall was so high that you
couldn’t see over it.
Thinking we all needed a break, I said, "We
have this big popcorn machine, so lets have
popcorn!" The machine was like the big
square commercial kind that you see in a
theater. I poured in some oil, and I asked
Ladean if that was enough and she said,
"Just a little more." I said, "I’ll pour in
the popcorn. There, do you think that is
enough?" She said, "Maybe just a little bit
more." I said, "We don’t want to get too
much," but I poured in a little bit more.
It began to pop and went crazy. It wasn’t
popping like normal popcorn. It began to fly
out a hole about two inches wide and twelve
inches long at the top of the machine. I
said, "Oh my goodness! Lets put tape across
it to keep it from coming out all over the
floor." We tried to put duct tape over the
hole, saying, "This isn’t going to work."
The tape wouldn’t hold and the popcorn just
kept flying out. "We might just as well let
it go! Oh my, look at this popcorn, it is
going everywhere!" The machine kept
producing popcorn clear up to the ceiling of
the church! It formed three huge mounds.
Looking at the popcorn I thought to the
Lord, "What have we done?" What are we going
to do with all this popcorn?" About that
time Nick came in. I said, "Look at all this
popcorn! What are we going to do with it?"
He looked at me with that kind of grin he
gets and said, "I know what I’m going to do
with it. I’m going to finish this wall with
it." I said, "It won’t work. It won’t stay
together." He said, "I’m going to just pile
it up there." But I said, "It won’t stay
there!"
He reached down and got as much as he could
carry in his arms, carrying it over to the
wall. He pounded and pressed it together,
but I said, "That won’t stay together." I
was thinking to myself this is crazy it
isn’t going to work! About the second time
he carried a load, I saw mortar begin to
flow supernaturally through the popcorn in
the wall and the popcorn turned to stone,
the same kind of stones used in the present
church building. After he had picked up his
third load of popcorn and turned towards the
wall, the popcorn in his arms then turned
into the same stone that was already in the
wall.
The rest of us said, "Let’s help do this!"
And as we picked up the popcorn and turned
and started towards the wall, the popcorn
would turn to stone in each one of our arms.
Several picked up the popcorn to help Nick
finish the wall and get rid of the popcorn.
When I awoke I saw a vision of mountains of
popcorn and I wondered what in the world it
could all mean?
Possible
Interpretation from Sandy:
This dream so delights me. Barbara knew
nothing of the corn/popcorn rhema when she
had this dream. I believe the Lord is saying
that our church contains people who have
completely yielded to Him, gone through the
death to self process and learned to wait
upon Him to build His kingdom, and not their
own. He’s honoring this and is beginning to
join those people. Together united in His
Spirit, they will form a strong wall, a
hedge of protection for all those who would
dwell within the arms of our church.

Multiplied
Corn Popped Through the Holy Spirit - Given
to Shirley on 7/29/93:
I
heard the Lord say, "To each his own. I
join. I unite. Not your choice. All things
decided by Me. Unlikely partners. Don’t plan
ahead. Spirit leading; you follow. Oh day of
victory. Fail safe. Perfect batch. Like
popcorn, right temp. No burning. Air popped.
Spirit breath."
[15] Endued
Endued With A Popcorn Mantle - Dream given
to Rose Crownover on 12/3/97:
E-mail: soundofharvest@juno.com Website:
http://members.spree.com/soundharvest
In this dream I was in a church building
that was our church (although it was not the
same facility that we have now). Lewis and I
were in a meeting in which Jill Austin was
ministering. She asked if she could use me
as a type of what the Lord was going to do
to many people. She threw over my shoulders
a rectangular cloth (it was like a gray
flannel or wool fabric). Then she dumped a
large bucket of a gooey golden colored
substance on me that was like a combination
of honey and oil. Then she took a bucket of
white popcorn and threw it on me over the
honey/oil mixture.
Next I was cutting a bolt of the cloth (like
what had been thrown over my shoulders) into
rectangular strips to be used for others. I
asked Jill if I was doing it right. She
answered, "Well that’s fine, but what I
really miss are the big square pieces." I
understood that it would be better for me to
cut the pieces twice the size than I was
making them.
Possible Interpretation from Rose:
As I was pondering this dream I began to
laugh at the combination of items that had
been dumped on me. "It sounds like a recipe
for caramel corn to me," I said to the Lord.
Then I realized a play on words with the
word caramel. I had been reading some books
about the Carmelites. In about 1209 the men
living on Mount Carmel adopted a rule
emphasizing solitude, penance and prayer. I
had a Word recently about God calling me to
this lifestyle of the inward man. The World
Book Dictionary says a definition for
Carmelite is a fine woolen material, usually
gray or light brown, which fits the
description of the cloth thrown on my
shoulders. Caramel literally means
cane-honey.
Additional Comments from Sandy:
I
see this dream depicting those who are
called to carry the mantle of intercession
upon their shoulders. The fact that the
mantles need to be larger represents the
fact that the intercession is much larger
than what appears in the natural. We say
people, He says "Nations."
[16] Anointed
Corn Revealed, Then Anointed - Given to
Sandy Warner on 9/23/94:
I
heard the Lord say, "He will butter my
banners." Then I saw a vision of husked corn
on the cob. This denotes that after the
revealing of the mature corn, comes the Holy
Spirit anointing. The word banners comes
from a Hebrew word meaning a sign. (See
notes on page 5.) Therefore those whom the
Lord anoints as His banners will be His
signs pointing the way. I believe that part
of the church’s intercession is ussuring in
this season through worship and dance. A
further parable of this is seen through
beautiful banners on church walls and in the
people using banners and other items to
worship.

[17] Salted
Salt Flavors and Preserves Popcorn - Dream
given to Sandy Warner on 12/14/95:
I
was typesetting a coupon. Spread across the
top was a banner of popcorn salt shakers
pouring out over the coupon. There were
women dressed in battle fatigues doing
different things among the salt shakers.
"For every one shall be salted with fire,
and every sacrifice shall be salted with
salt. (Mark 9:49)
Possible
Interpretation from Sandy: To me, this
verse is like a promise to those who die to
their will and become a sacrifice. They will
be salted with salt. The sacrifice and the
salt go together as a package deal. Salt is
a natural by-product of sacrifice. It is
also produced by spending time with Him and
having an intimate relationship.
Salt is like an advertisement that draws
people to Jesus. We give flavor to the world
through sharing the testimony of what we see
and hear God doing in our own lives and
those around us. We preserve the world by
overcoming the enemy and pushing back
darkness.
[18] Served
Double Portion Corn Ready to Serve - Given
to Sandy Warner on 6/18/95:
I
heard the Lord say, "Watch it all come to
pass. Eye witness." Then I saw two ears of
ready to eat corn, stacked one on top of
another on a plate. This speaks of a promise
that we shall be eye witnesses to a last
day’s double portion anointing on those who
have come to maturity.
