RHEMA 7/30/08  A WOWZER AND THANK YOU DAY

WOW!!  HELP ARRIVES

Today I got up at 4:30 AM and read a notice from my webhost telling me I was very close to reaching my 614,400 file limit at the forum.  This was very startling as I can not afford to get a higher plan.  I prayed about it and started deleting non vital files.  But I was finding them at the rate of 20 or so at a time.  This was obviously not pay dirt.   

Finally I found 2 error log directories that the forum software creators had created for their own purposes behind the scenes.  One had over 9,000 error logs and I deleted it.  The other one was so huge it would not let me into the directory at all.  I kept trying for 2 hours and finally one of the tech support said he could reach the directory from there.  It took him a while, but he did it and deleted 561,109 files!!!! 

In a second incident with another software company that insisted their program could help me, each effort was a bomb and my website issues were worse than when I started which was several months ago.  Support kept trying to educate me on how things are done “properly” with internet protocol I kept trying to explain to him how things were not working as he said. Finally he said one tiny sentence that made me realize he was frustrated not understanding how I was able to get a portion of files that he could not get.  The answer was very simple and so I copied and pasted exactly how.  He was so excited and it turned on a light for him.  We both had an “Ah HA!” moment and things streamlined from there.  I received the instant help I needed and he is going to add that little step to his software program!  It was a very great day of finally having some issues work through. 

Having started my day at 4 AM I was exhausted and went to bed early.  I was SO thankful to the Lord, because I KNEW He had sent revelation and help.  I have not had such joy and zeal in my “thank yous” in a very long time, I just kept saying thank You, thank You!  When I responded to the tech support helper who deleted 561,109 error logs my response was to him was a gigantic WOW in very large red letters.

THE KEY TO  PLEASE  -  WOW!

Sweetheart, when you clad yourself with zeal it blesses Me.  How I love it when you say, WOW! over something I have done for you.  And your eagerness in intercession to protect My people gets My attention.  Be at peace, and feel My love for you as you express your joy to Me.

Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, (1 Peter 1:8 NKJV)

WHY ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE THANKFUL? 7/17/08

One of the most powerful lessons I have learned in ministry is how much it means to God when we say thank You.  To say thank You to God brings climax to each gift He sends. 

1 Thess 5:18-19 NKJV

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.   Do not quench the Spirit.

When one gives a gift, unless it is acknowledged, it remains a one-way act with no closure to the circle of a mutual relationship.  To refuse Him that gift of gratefulness is to refuse to be humble in admitting that we sincerely need what He gives to us, no matter how minuscule, no matter what form.  When we fail to see the goodness in His gift, we are blind, because God only gives good gifts.  God continues to be good and give us good gifts whether we are thankful or not.  But is it very rewarding to Him when we give back to Him our joy and appreciation.

WISDOM:  When we become good parents, we teach our children how to say thank you by saying thank you to them.  We look for their good gifts, qualities and expressions and remember to tell them thank you.  We learn how God feels when our kids reciprocate with joy and relationship in regards to our gifts.

Matt 7:11-12 NKJV

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
