rhema 2/19/08  AFTER a SEASON OF SETBACKS

HEARD:  Discern you.  You’re a sportsman.  She’s OK, she needs a rest. 

CT:  5:55.

HEARD:  I was in a hurry. To run the race.

PIX:  I saw a black woman runner with a tear going down her cheek.  She had been sent to jail for wrong doing.  Afterwards she went back to high school and then on to college to change her life and make a difference in the world.

PIX:  I saw a scrunchie that holds hair in a pony tail.  What stood out to me was the large accordion wrinkles in the cloth.

HEARD:  Flattened.  Abasement.  You worked out the kinks.  Smooth.  Laid it all down.  Been through this.  You know the way sweetheart.  You can smell it. 

A runner’s road.  Prepared before you.  Awesome.  Enlightenment.  You understand.  It is so simple when you trust.  Waiting on Me.  To set you free.   Graduated.  Modeled it. 

DREAM:  Wayne and I were in Africa and when we got to a river junction of several rivers merging into one, we saw a friend coming down one river and joining us.  I had to go the restroom and there were tiny snake and alligator bodies slimed all over the walls and floors with their heads cut off.  I knew there had been a lot of warring going on in this place.

Outside the door to the restroom, I had left a little heart shape rock box with my treasures inside of it.  I asked Wayne to bring it with him.  He was in the river and threw it up in the air, and it landed in the river.  He got it easily and then he threw it into the air again and into the water.  It was deeper and Wayne had to go down on his knee and put his face in the water to reach down to get it.  He was fully immersed up to his shoulders.  The water was not dirty and muddy as most African rivers I have seen in photos, but was clear and pure. 

INTERP:  I sensed that the restroom and throwing into the river represented a washing through prayer. 

DREAM:  Cant find my watch, lost my way.  I’m taking you there to the river.  You found it. 

WORD TO PONDER:  AFTER A SEASON OF SETBACKS 2/19/08

Beloved one, full of zealous passion, you have gone through a season of set backs where you were so flattened and abased, you didnt know if you could ever run again.  You survived much accusation and paid dearly for that time.  How precious you are to Me.  Thank you for humbling yourself before Me in repentance and change, and waiting upon Me through that difficult time.  I understand you have lost your way and dont know how your life fits in My divine time table.  But you have trusted Me to set you free and I AM taking you to My river.  Through prayer, you and your treasured dreams will be washed and made whole.

2 Kings 5:9-14 NKJV

Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha's house. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean." 11 But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, "Indeed, I said to myself, 'He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.' 12 Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean'?" 14 So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
