2/09/17 ALIGNING OUR LIVES INTO ORDER
VISION:
I saw some cards, where one descending column was Jack,
Queen, King and the other column had only one card in it:
9. I realized in order for the Jack, Queen, King to be put
in the right order it would need a slot to move into. The 9
would have to go into the “on hold/ waiting” pile and then I
could first move the King, then the Queen, then the Jack and
they would be in proper order.
This was certainly an interesting vision! Since the 1950’s
latter rain healing movement, the Lord decreed He was going
to raise up a generation of character (fruits of the Spirit)
that would not take His glory and use it for self-promotion
and corrupt it works of the flesh. We have been on hold
waiting for the maturity of His fruits to grow up within
us!
Gal 5:22-25 NLT But the Holy Spirit produces this kind
of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, and
self-control. There
is no law against these things! (24) Those who belong to
Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their
sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. (25)
Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the
Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.
The last fruit of the spirit is TEMPERANCE, which means
self-control where our spirit rules over our soul which
rules over our bodies! Temperance is the freedom to say NO
to the flesh and YES to God, promptly, without hesitation or
struggle. We are in temperance lessons until it is finally
matured.
In the meantime, He is moving our authority (kingship
ruling) into place, then our bridal position to partner with
Him (queen) comes into order, finally our sons (jack) have a
foundation in which to bud forth and flourish.
Deu_8:2 Remember how the LORD your God led you through
the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and
testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether
or not you would obey His commands.
Psa_105:19 Until the time came to fulfill his dreams,
the LORD tested Joseph's character.
Rom_5:4 And endurance develops strength of character,
and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
1Co_15:33 Don't be fooled by those who say such things,
for "bad company corrupts good character."
