12/07/07 OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALLIANCES TEST MOTIVES
QUICKENED BUMPER STICKER: On the way to prayer
meeting tonight, I stopped behind a bumper sticker that
said, “CO-Exist.” Each letter was artistically drawn
into a symbol or icon. The letter “T” was the cross.
The letter “O” was the peace symbol, the upside down
broken cross. There were other signs of astrology and
others I did not recognize. What I did know was that it
was New Age, a blending of many gods and religions. The
Lord imparted to me that when alliances are established,
they join their forces together for greater power. This
is true in the spiritual world as well as the natural.
QUICKENED SCRIPTURE: As I was pondering that
birds of a feather flock together, that like demons also
join for greater impact, I was thinking that we
certainly do not want to intermarry with other people’s
demons when we are mingling among them. Then He brought
into memory the following scripture that if we choose to
co-exist with compromise and the demonic, then these
will become pricks and thorns to us in the land of our
promises. We need to be very careful when joining
alliances and not only see the opportunity of increased
giftedness, but also not become blinded by the demons
and impure motives that are behind the scenes. Not all
opportunities are for promotion, but rather for testing.
Num 33:51-56 NKJV
When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of
Canaan, 52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants
of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved
stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish
all their high places; 53 you shall dispossess the
inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have
given you the land to possess. 54 And you shall divide
the land by lot as an inheritance among your families;
to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and
to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance;
there everyone's inheritance shall be whatever falls to
him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of
your fathers. 55 But if you do not drive out the
inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall
be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in
your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall
harass you in the land where you dwell. 56 Moreover it
shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to
them.'"
PRAYER: On the way to prayer meeting I took
authority that the doors of the counterfeit be closed
and shut down in my life and others. I wanted no
mixture and co-existence with counterfeit spirits. I
get very weary of all the second heaven revelations and
things that are not pure. I commanded the counterfeit
door to close so that we could hear clearly from the
throne room of God.
CONFIRMATION: On the way to the same prayer
meeting one of our intercessors was praying in tongues
and saw a large door to hell close right in front of her
and then a series of successive doors close in the same
way. It reminded her of a lockdown in a prison. We all
drive to the prayer meeting at the same time and I was
amazed that she probably saw this at the same time I was
praying.
INTERPRETATIONS: The intercessors discussed her
vision and prayed over it and there were several
interpretations, including the need to destroy the doors
so that prisoners can come out. I quietly had three
interpretations. The first was total JOY that the
counterfeit door of hell was shut, since it was so
timely with the bumper sticker and my prayer of many
years. Second, I have not been hearing and seeing as
much lately and I felt it was the demonic attempt to put
a door of intimidation in front of me that kept me from
the joy of relationship. Third, an opportunity was
discussed and I felt that if it was a demonic set up,
that it would be the first of many successive closed
doors in letting go of a vision that the Lord had been
establishing.
(Fourth, I noticed pastor spoke the next day that our
stubborn mindset is a lock down that closes down other
doors of opportunities for the blessings of the Lord.)
After pondering her vision for a few days, I really feel
it was meant to have many applications. All of them
were quickened to me!
WORD TO PONDER: OPPORTUNITIES TEST MOTIVES AND
COMMITMENT 12/07/07
When a door opens before you, always test it with the
vision and call I have on your life. Does it line up
with all the puzzle pieces that I have already set into
place and confirmed? If it does, then proceed with
caution and lay down presumption that opportunities are
My perfect will for your life. Always remember that it
is not My will for you to compromise your standards in
order to join with others. If you intermarry with
other’s giants, they will become snares and thorns to
your own life.
Even so, I do allow opportunities to come so that your
motives will become clear to you, and so that your
commitment to the vision I have placed in your life will
be re-established. I already know what is not settled
in your life, planted and grounded. I already know your
motives and how they will draw you away from My call
upon your life. Nothing surprises Me, sweet one. I
only allow these things so that YOU will see them too,
and then call out to Me to uproot them from your soul.
As you continually yield the dross that rises with each
heating, I receive them as sacrifices of a broken and
contrite heart. Beloved, you smell SO good to Me. I AM
so proud of you when I see you so deeply yielded and
waiting.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know
my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. |
