RHEMA 6/17/11 AN ATMOSPHERE OF HONOR
HEARD: Fellowship. You have access, you know
that.
HEARD SONG: Come and dine the Master calleth
come and dine. You have access any time.
School. Key
ingredient.
RHEMA 10/18/10 TO GIVE HONOR TO WHOM IT IS DUE
heard:
Fellowship. The joy of having you here. To see you
laugh brings Me delight. It lights up my whole world.
HEARD:
The key ingredient. There is Honor for each individual.
Rom 13:7 NKJV
Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom
taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom
fear, honor to whom honor.
QUICKENED MEMORY: About a week ago I
heard, "We honor you." And I remembered the
following scripture:
Heb 2:6-8 NKJV
What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son
of man that You take care of him? You have made him a
little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with
glory and honor, and set him over the works of Your
hands. You have put all things in subjection under his
feet.
PIX: I saw our 2 year old granddaughter and
her precious smile lit up across her face as we were
praising her for her good behavior.
At our family dinner this weekend, I shared how she had
done something at our home last time she was here, that
showed remarkable self discipline. I was so proud of
her.
PIX:
Then I saw our grandson's smiling face and I saw a list
of things on a piece of paper that he was being honored
for.
WORD TO PONDER: GIVING HONOR RELEASES MIGHTY WORKS
6/17/11
Beloved ones, watch your speech and be careful of
criticism. Even though Miriam had natural privileges as
Moses' sister to speak into his life, she was held
accountable for challenging his level of authority. I
cast her out to be separated and isolated for a season.
Give honor to whom honor is due. Honor your father and
mother, honor widows, honor the king, honor elders and
honor the weaker vessels. Honor all people. Honor
releases gifts and faith to flow even to the point of
mighty works.
When I ministered in My home town of Nazareth, I was
without honor and seen as a mere man. People were
deeply offended in Me and they did not believe. They
lacked faith in My divine mission from the Father and I
only did a few miracles there because of their unbelief.
Matt 13:57-58 AMP
And they took offense at Him [they were repelled and
hindered from acknowledging His authority, and caused to
stumble]. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not
without honor except in his own country and in his own
house. 58 And He did not do many works of power there,
because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in the
divine mission of Jesus).
1 Sam 2:30 KJV
Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed
that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk
before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far
from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they
that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
Num 12:2-3; 8-10; 13-15 NKJV
So they said, "Has the Lord indeed spoken only
through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And
the Lord heard it. (Now the man Moses was very humble,
more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
....
... I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and
not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant
Moses?" So the anger of the Lord was aroused against
them, and He departed. And when the cloud departed from
above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as
white as snow...
So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, "Please heal
her, O God, I pray!" Then the Lord said to Moses, "If
her father had but spit in her face, would she not be
shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven
days, and afterward she may be received again."
1 Peter 2:17 NKJV
Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God.
Honor the king.
