AWAKENED!  1/13/07

Today after writing the following Word to Ponder, I received a confirmation that I felt was connected with the word AWAKENED.

WORD TO PONDER: THE FAITHFULNESS OF THE SUN 1/13/07
I have placed My sign in the sky for you to draw from. Every morning it rises and every evening it sets. Day in and day out I have laid its foundation in the earth as faithfulness. Yes, there are days you may not see the sun, yet it continues the cycle to sustain that which I have created.

Draw upon this parable, dear one. Within every dark moment, you have the knowledge and hope that My light will come to break away such darkness. Turn your heart towards Me knowing that every minute that passes is closer to the rising of My light in your situation.

Ps 37:5-6 NKJV
Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Isa 58:8,10 NKJV
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard....Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.

Job 11:17-18 NKJV
And your life would be brighter than noonday. Though you were dark, you would be like the morning. And you would be secure, because there is hope;

Ps 19:1-6 NKJV
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven, and its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

CONFIRMATION: Just as I finished writing this one on faithfulness, I downloaded this email:

"I awoke with the song GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS ringing in my ears along with the song Blessed be the Name of the Lord. It played in rounds in my ears."

UPDATE CONFIRMATION: Then I downloaded an email from a friend saying, "I so want you to 'experience' this latest Matt Sorger CD called 'the Awakening', which just arrived in the mail Tues."

I am stirred with the mentioning of the word Awakening. And that too reminds me of the sun rising. A few weeks ago I heard the Word, "Awakened" in the prayer room. I feel it is a prime Word to pray over and key for this year. I am not sure what specifically it relates to as there are so many..... Revival, Lazarus, the 2 dead sons who came back to life, the 3rd day resurrection power, blindness gone, Song of Soloman's beloved rising from her bed to touch the door handle, Israel's slumber, or the world's condition of last days. But it is an important Word to pray into.

AWAKENED! 5/30/04

In the early morning hours when time is not yet stirring,
I AM there beside you, like a gentle purring.
I whisper My secrets into your ears
for My hope of your coming years.

I await with anticipation that I will be your first greeting,
that you would call on Me, for our joyful meeting.
If you listen for My voice

One step at a time, we enlarge our abode.

Humble beginnings, not yet known.
Turn to radical outpouring of world renown.
