BREAKTHROUGH FAITH

PARABLE: I was recovering from some very painful injuries and a lupus flare and was unable to walk much or climb up or down anything. Wayne had bought me a short blue plastic stool and put it in the bath tub so that I could step out when done. (Our sunken tub is level with the floor.) I was blessed to be able to take a bath once again and not just showers. Today, in the Walmart parking lot, I was starting to say, "Thank You Lord for the new stool." But instead I said, "Thank You Lord for the new Break stool". I knew the Lord had filled my mouth as I remembered the following vision:

VISION: I saw an angel with a bunch of little blue plastic stepping stools all in a row. He was kneeling down arranging the stepping stools in a line just for me.

HEARD: I will help you.

WALLMART CONTINUED: Just as I said the phrase, "Thank You Lord for the Break stool" my eyes fell upon the breath mints in our car called, "Ice BREAKers." I thought of the Lord breaking through for us, and also thought of the water gushing forth when a women gives birth. This whole connection was very quickened to me as His Word.

CONFIRMATION EXPERIENCE: That same day I turned with anointed hands to the following Word to Ponder. It was based upon a dream/ vision I’d had describing the breakthrough:

WORD TO PONDER: RIVERS UNTHAWING

Through much warfare and intercession, I have been releasing ground that has been frozen and taken over by the enemy. Gifts and freedom to minister and move in My Presence is being released in a mighty downhill rush of My Presence. Even the children shall get in on this. This river is My deposit of things yet to come. As you enjoy the power and rush of My Spirit, know that there is a double portion land that is still frozen over. It is still under the grip of the enemy after generations of non use. I will once again send My intercessors and warriors to set things in motion and this second river shall also unthaw a step at a time. Suddenly without notice the ice will break up and things will begin to move once again. This second river shall flow straight into the first and together they shall make a powerful flow of double portion signs and wonders.

"I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs." (Isaiah 41:18 NIV)

UPDATE: Little did I know that as a result of this trial, the Lord would place the intercessory article called, "For Those Too Broken to Climb the Stairs" upon my heart. The article was posted on Elijah List and I was astonished to receive several hundred responses from many suffering people. He has such a tender heart for those suffering!

The final update to that article was that the Lord did make a house call and heal my feet, right in my own home, in my own bed. My beloved husband had prayed for 3 days for the Lord to give him the faith to pray for me. On the third day he broke through and suddenly he came into my bedroom, commanded my feet to be healed and they were. I was up and walking around after that and made fast strides until all the pain was completely gone. (Thank you to all of you whose prayers were added to Wayne’s that finally brought that powerful breakthrough for me during that difficult trial!)

WORD TO PONDER: STEP STOOLS TO BECOME BREAK STOOLS

For years, My people have been climbing My Holy Mountain one step at a time. Forsaking all for the journey to Me, they have climbed steep terrain and faced insurmountable odds. And still they have climbed. It has stirred My heart to watch them grow with each step along the way. For I have known the depths of their cries and the sweat upon their brows.

In times when they could not even think of climbing another step, I have sent My angels with small stepping stools. They have bowed low to serve My weary ones and even helped them lift their legs to take another tiny half step. Later, when My weary ones could no longer comply, these servant angels placed their stepping stools beneath them so they could sit down with their weary loads.

What they did not perceive in their journey, was why the weight became heavier with each measured step. Their spiritual wombs had been impregnated with My seeds of promise. As they climbed to pursue Me, their wombs grew fuller and weightier along the way.

Now, in this place of rest, these stepping stools shall become breaking stools. As in the fullness of time, the womb breaks forth its waters, these stools shall become a place of breakthrough when the spiritual dams break forth in heavenly force. The dams of heaven have been collecting the tears of the saints for generations. Their promises and all that has been held back through the delays of time, shall be spilled forth upon the earth. This shall be the place of breakthrough, this shall be My heavenly rain. For I will rain upon all flesh with a fresh empowerment of My Spirit. I shall bring to fruition their seeds and they shall not only reap a bountiful harvest, but they shall also reap what they have not planted.

So, rest now, My weary ones, and place your load upon your stool. Plant your stool like a memorial rock and let it become your birthing stone. I am there with you and will bring you through to completion. I AM faithful to do exactly what I have promised.
