RHEMA 4/9/03 PARABLE OF BAGHDAD FALLING TODAY
Today was the day our troops rolled into Baghdad and the
UN ambassador said the game is over. People came out to
the streets, danced, cheered, whistled, laughed,
chanted, and rejoiced over the fall of Saddam’s regime.
DIVINE TIMING CONFIRMATION: Today the following
Ears2Hear came out: I posted these on InJesus last
March.
{Ears 2 Hear} MAINTAIN YOUR GROUND

QUICKENED CONCEPT ON WARFARE: A concept was quickened to
me today regarding spiritual warfare. I applied it to
the difference between only claiming your territory
instead of maintaining your territory.
The concept came from my reading a book about the Lewis
and Clark expedition and about an Indian who didn't
understand a surveyor’s "invisible lines." The Indian
said it reminded him of when the animals mark their
territory and it depends on what animal crosses the
boundary as to whether the lines are respected.
In order to prove his point, he took the surveyor on a 3
day’s ride all the way up the river to view a marking
carved in a rock. It was put there by a Frenchman in
prior decades and was covered by weeds. One had to
search to find it. It read something like, "All the
territory from this river to such n' such now belongs to
the French." Obviously the French were nowhere around
and the Indians lived there. Marking your territory
doesn't do a bit of good. Standing and maintaining your
territory does.

WORD TO PONDER: TO CLAIM OR TO OCCUPY
I’m not asking you to claim your territory, rather I AM
asking you to occupy it and then stand and maintain it.
There is a big difference: WORK AND EFFORT.
"I will not drive them out from before you in one year,
lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the
field become too numerous for you. Little by little I
will drive them out from before you, until you have
increased, and you inherit the land." (Ex 23:29-31 NKJV) |
