RHEMA 1/15/12  BE CONTENT, move with rest

I have been in a season of rest for a few months.  Sometimes we press in for so long that we just need to rest.  Last night I downloaded some new word games to play on my iTouch.  My eyes were so tired and I was too weary by the time it was to pray together.  While Wayne was praying I had my eyes closed and saw the following.

PIX:  I saw __ __ __ ED.

HEARD:  TIRED. 

HEARD:  Just rest sweet one.

PIX:  I saw the word, content.

Phil 4:11-13 NKJV

I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

HEARD:  We’ve been sent to help you.

VISION:  I saw an angel go to a shelf and bring a package to me.  She gave me a lovely smile.

AH:  I turned with anointed hands to the following Word to Ponder.  I feel that the package the Lord has sent me is the ability to remain at my post and still give, but do so under His canopy of rest.  This month He has begun to move His people again to advance.  And I am willing and He is giving me grace to move again, but this time in His rest.

I AM sending you dear ones.  Go forth and walk in peace, walk in My rest.  Having lain down your strivings, know that I AM with you, and will amply give you gifts for every occasion that you meet.  Like a flowing river, it shall never run dry. My seeds are within you.  Even as I created every living thing to bear fruit after its own kind, walk out your life in a natural way of bearing fruit in each season.  Walk through doors that you have desires to walk through, for I have grafted My desires into your own and we will go forth as One.

Listen for My Words for each occasion and believe.  You know My Sovereignty, My encircling of your life, My divine canopy.  You know Your loving Father and Creator and you believe My Words.  Take rest and refuge under My wings for you are covered beloved and faithful family.

Heb 4:13 NKJV

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest , let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.  3 For we who have believed do enter that rest , as He has said "So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest ,'" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way"And God rested on the seventh day from all His works";  5 and again in this place"They shall not enter My rest ."  6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after such a long time, as it has been said "Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts."  8 For if Joshua had given them rest , then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.  Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest , lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

DOG PARABLE:  I have been watching an educational show called the Dog Whisperer.  One night there was a pit bull that was literally dragging the person out the gate in order to go on the walk.  There was no way the dog would listen to become rehabilitated from his behavior problems because he had so much energy.  So Cesar recommended taking him for walks with roller blades.  He demonstrated the dog pulling Cesar along behind him.  The dog became tired after 3 trips, so Cesar took off his blades and THEN walked the dog.  The dog suddenly didnt care at all about all the things that usually caused him to misbehave.  He was willing and attentive to follow Cesar’s commands, simply because he had worn himself out.
