3/23/19 BENEFITS TO BEING CALM AND
SUBMISSIVE
HEARD:
I was turning out my light for bed and asked the Lord to
open my ears and eyes so I could hear and see what He is
saying and doing. I missed hearing from Him at night.
Immediately I heard Him say, Calm and submissive.
I have been listening to Caesar Millan’s shows about
rehabilitating dogs and he teaches that you only reward a
dog when he is calm and submissive. Calm and submissive is
when a doggie is still and relaxed in his body, mind, mouth,
eyes. Rewards are affection, attention, massage, food, and
verbal praise.
3/17/19 CALM DOWN
Safely. Softly. I whisper. Calm down. Access. To be
still before Me. I will give you access. I saw a butterfly
begin to fly. Gentle. I will comfort you.
3/02/18 BE STILL TO DE-STRESS AND
RESET
I had a very busy and somewhat stressful February. To reset
from my month, this week I have been going to bed about 6 to
spend quiet time with the Lord without distraction. I have
had wonderful times of being still before Him. Last night I
had an interesting confirmation to this time with Him. I had
opened my tablet with my 2018 rhema in it and saw the
thumbnail of Table of Contents that was too small to read, I
just clicked on where eye landed and it took me to the
following sections about Being STILL BEFORE HIM.
It was really a wonderful confirmation to my stillness times
in the evenings this week.
DOUBLE CONFIRMATION:
Then after reading the following rhema, I opened up another
APP that also has my rhema in it which reads it in a
different format. I heard page 63, and having no idea what
it would be, I laughed when it was the same exact rhema! The
Lord surely made His point! Here is that rhema!
1/14/18 TAKE TIME TO BE STILL
BEFORE HIM
How you watch. Yes it’s important to be still. I am there
inside sweet one. You never have to climb. It’s the beauty
of fellowship.
1/13/18: BE STILL AND KNOW HE IS GOD
Today Bobby Conner posted on this Psalm: Psalm 46:10 Be
still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the
nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
As I looked up the scripture in my computer Bible program, I
read my rhema that was posted there:
6/04/16 BEING STILL BEFORE THE LORD
Fellowship. Dig deeper. [Lord How can I dig deeper
than what I am already doing?] Spend time with Me. That’s
all. A quality of life in being still, I assure you.
6/19/16 LEARN TO BE STILL
I saw lots of activity in a classroom. Children, you have
got to learn how to sit down. Be still. Safe canopy. Lid on.
Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God.
True love. Melt, I melt your heart and turn it toward Me.
I love you daughter. Be not afraid. Yes
it’s Me. Softly I speak. A gentle whisper.
WORD TO PONDER: BE STILL TO
DE-STRESS AND RESET 3/02/18
Dear one, there are times when your life is laborious due to
many responsibilities. It is in those times that your faith
in My leading and grace carries you through to completion.
When I give you awareness of your need for personal space,
it is helpful to take some time off to de-stress and reset.
Always remember that where your treasure is, there is your
heart too. I wait for you just as you wait for Me dear one.
Come to Papa and spend quiet times with Me. Let Me bath you
in My peace, without noise, without distraction. Put your
total focus Me and My Word to you. You will tangibly feel
what a difference this makes in your daily life.
Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God.
Being still before Me. Ripple effect. I saw waves in a
lake undulating outwards. Return to your resting place.
POEM: BE STILL 9/06/04
OK Lord. I’ve quieted my heart, I’ve quieted my
soul.
I’ve laid everything down that has taken its toll.
I give You my time to be still before You.
Please open my ears to hear something new.
I wait before You at this crossroads in life
A season has closed, I let go of my strife.
Be still oh my soul and wait before Him.
His small voice will surface as noise grows dim.
Surrounded in peace as I lay upon my bed
All cares are gone as I seek Him instead.
Come oh Dove, the One Whom I seek.
Whisper Your heart, please come and speak.
Your people are troubled in masses of care.
They need extra help to know You are there.
They want a Word for the season to come.
They desire assurance from Your kingdom.
I call upon You, my heavenly Source
It’s not about them, it’s about You, of course
So what do You have to say, this new day?
As I lay here before You, lingering to stay.
Your peace surrounds me as we become one.
I am received as You say well done.
Please let Your Words flow to my ears
As we commune together throughout our years.
Ps 4:3-4
NKJV
But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is
godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him. Be angry, and
do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be
still.
1Ki 19:11-13
NKJV
Then He said, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the
LORD." And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and
strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in
pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind;
and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in
the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the
LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small
voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his
face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of
the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, "What are
you doing here, Elijah?"
3/26/19 HOW TO SEE AND SEE DURING THE DAY: CALM AND
SUBMISSIVE
Ok Lord here we are another day, I choose to calm myself and
enter in to have morning devotions with You.
Distractions. Overcome them. Set time aside. Yes.
This pleases Me. I am gentle and lowly of heart. I had a
quick picture of a little beagle doggie with gentle brown
eyes and his head slightly lowered. I heard, This is
submission.
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for
I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto
your souls.

I had the impression of the same doggie perky and excited
almost wanting to jump up to his master. I can clearly
understand the difference in demeanor and how excitability
is an obstacle in being calm and submissive in order to hear
and see His Word.
Gentle. Light touch. Upon hearing the word, Gentle,
immediately the following verse came to mind.
I was surprised to see that
His STILL voice is CALM.
1 Kings 19:12-13 And after the earthquake a fire; but the
LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a
still small voice.
13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his
face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance
of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and
said, What do you here, Elijah?

I keep remembering Ceasar Millan’s teachings on how to get a
dog to behave. He says a dog must be calm and submissive.
In the above I heard the Lord say HE was gentle and lowly of
heart. And now His voice is also described as calm! When
upon earth this was His key to walking in the Spirit and
fellowship with the Father. He did spend quiet times alone
early in the morning with the Father. But He also
maintained that calmness of heart and humility to listen and
obey when the Father spoke to Him when Jesus was out and
about. The Lord is wanting me to become this
self-disciplined to be calm and submissive in my mind and
heart so I can hear and see during the day as I have done
for decades at night. This is really helpful for me to
understand that JESUS was like this too in regards to
fellowship with the Father. This is the REST He wants me to
enter in to during the day!
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for
I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto
your souls.
