RHEMA 2/01/12 WARNING BUILD FIRST THROUGH PRAYER

HEARD: Because we pray, we go higher. My kingdom is built through prayer. I think I’ll build me a house this summer. Woa.

Matt 6:8-10 NKJV

"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

Ps 127:1 NKJV

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

PONDERING: As I was pondering the Lord’s prayer it was really quickened to me that out of all the cares there are to pray about in the world, the first thing Jesus taught us to pray for is that the Father’s kingdom and will come to earth, just as it already is in heaven. That is really powerful when you realize that one thing is His priority and agenda in the world today. When you realize that all that is happening in the earth is to fulfill that purpose, things begin to make sense as to the shakings and kingdoms becoming dislodged.

Not only that but since Jesus told us to pray His kingdom come on earth, it is obviously important to God that we pray. He actually wants us to pray for and welcome His kingdom onto the earth, because the heaven belongs to the Lord but the earth has been given to us. We must welcome Him here and ask Him to take over.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

APPLICATION: The kingdom of God is built first with prayer and then works from faith in His Words. Kingdom building surges by seasons of waiting and prayer and seasons of advancing and works, as we only move only on His command. This year we have been given a command from the Lord to ADVANCE. After such a long time of waiting, the passion to run again is like wild stallions coming out of the stall!!

HEARD: Advance. You light My path. A deliverer. I shall use you.

VISION: I was flying over an area with lots of lights. It looked like it was an arena or meeting place in the distance.

HEARD: Go higher sweetheart, you are almost there. The view is awesome. I am advancing you.

The last season we were in a period of waiting and simply not going anywhere very fast. This was because we spent ourselves and poured out without the same measure pouring back in. There is a radical difference in serving God out of faithfulness and duty vs partnering with God out of faithfulness and first love for Him. It is so easy to be caught up in good works (and they have their reward) but become so busy that one loses their first love in the process. When we are called to advance, we must be very careful to establish our boundaries in our time and scheduling so that we do not lose our intimacy and first love with Him.

I am reminded of a warning through Bob Jones for 2012. We must be very careful as we break out of our stalls and advance!

PRAYER: We earnestly ask that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives and in our nations and in the world. We ask that as we advance forward at Your command, that You will give us Your reminders to PRAY about everything and only move as You lead. We ask that You will keep us from our flesh that goes full throttle out of our pent up places and please give us continual reminders to pace our days and schedules so that we keep our relationship with You and our loved ones as our first priority. We want the flame of our love for You to burn brightly and our works to only be fueled by passion in relationship with You and not duty. Lord we want to call You Husband and no longer Master. In Jesus Name.
