THE CHAP
STICK ANOINTING!
Testimony from Grandma Anna
My
friend was very ill with a heart condition at a hospital
in a nearby city. Compassion led me to go pray for her
by myself. The Holy Spirit nudged me to hang onto her
feet and pray. Since I didn’t have any anointing oil, I
anointed them with her chap stick. She received great
heat and tingling through her arms and chest. I had
waves and waves of goose bumps as I prayed in tongues
and held onto her feet.
Both of
us physically felt the Lord's Presence and I was having
a difficult time in standing up. We had great joy and
were anything but religious. In fact we were laughing
uproariously. We wondered what would happen if a "for
real" Pastor walked in and saw our non religious
shenanigans. I frankly didn’t know when to let go of her
feet, but finally I knew she couldn’t help but be healed
and tried to get her to get up out of the bed and go
home with me.
She had
promised to have an Angiogram done with a catheter going
into her heart and wanted to go ahead with it. I had
absolutely no peace and cried and pleaded with the Lord
about it. As it turned out, she seriously convulsed with
it and it could easily have killed her. However, the
good news about the Angiogram was that they found she
had a healed heart. They took her off all her heart
medication. She had suffered heart problems for years.

SELAH
WORD GIVEN TO GRANDMA ANNA
Little
ones, how I love your hearts that beat with My loving
compassion for the hurting and sick. At times, I will
give you a special gift to give to another. Walk with
courage and boldness, and see what My gift will do! Long
prayers aren’t needed and even anointing the sick with
chap stick has My smiling approval.
"Now
there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but it is
the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all.
There are different kinds of service in the church, but
it is the same Lord we are serving. There are different
ways God works in our lives, but it is the same God who
does the work through all of us. A spiritual gift is
given to each of us as a means of helping the entire
church. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to
give wise advice; to another he gives the gift of
special knowledge. The Spirit gives special faith to
another, and to someone else he gives the power to heal
the sick. He gives one person the power to perform
miracles, and to another the ability to prophesy. He
gives someone else the ability to know whether it is
really the Spirit of God or another spirit that is
speaking. Still another person is given the ability to
speak in unknown languages, and another is given the
ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one
and only Holy Spirit who distributes these gifts. He
alone decides which gift each person should have. The
human body has many parts, but the many parts make up
only one body. So it is with the body of Christ." (1
Corinthians 12:4-12 NLT)
