CALLING FORTH FAITH
HEARD:
Calling forth things that are not as though they are.
Rom 4:16-19 NKJV
Therefore it is of
faith that it might be according to grace, so that the
promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those
who are of the law, but also to those who are of the
faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is
written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in
the presence of Him whom he believed — God, who gives
life to the dead and calls those things which do not
exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope
believed, so that he became the father of many nations,
according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants
be."
POEM: CALLING FORTH
FAITH 10/27/06
Let faith arise and
come up higher.
To leave the darkness
and the mire.
Proclaim what you hear
and then commit.
To lean on God to
manifest it.
The Word of God is in
high demand.
Releasing captives from
His command.
Not one jot or tittle
will be changed
He exalts His Word
above His Name.
Listen daily for the
Word of God,
To walk in peace with
your feet well shod.
Logos and rhema,
quicken oh Dove!
Bursting to life with
faith, hope and love.
Mount up higher to a
settling place
To close all doors of
shame and disgrace.
For when His truth is
revealed to thee
It paves a way for your
destiny.
As you trust God to
establish you,
It confirms and plants
all that you do.
He waters and feeds His
Words each day.
To root them deeply,
just simply obey.
Before you know it, a
tree has grown.
With fruit to bare from
all that was shown.
Ps 138:2 NKJV
For You have
magnified Your Word above all Your name .
Rom 4:17 AMP
As it is written, I
have made you the father of many nations. [He was
appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he
believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the
nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised]
as if they [already] existed. [Gen 17:5.] |
