THE CAUSES OF LAST DAY STORMS  8/10/14

There are several reasons for the increasing gravity of storms today and all are coming to a climax with it being the harvest of the ages.  It is important to understand these things so you will know how to live your life and how to pray regarding them. 

·       The earth is revolting under the weight of sin and offense.  A key to this kind of prayer is repentance on behalf of the offenses done to the earth. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Romans 8:20-22 For the creation was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.

Job 31:38-40 If my land cries against me, and its furrows likewise complain; 39 If I have eaten its fruit without payment, or have caused its owners to lose their life: 40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and weeds instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

Genesis 4:10 And he said, What have you done? the voice of your brother's blood cries unto me from the ground.

Job 12:7-10 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach you; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell you: 8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you: and the fish of the sea shall declare unto you. 9 Who knows not among all these that the hand of the LORD has done this? 10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Luke 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

·       People and nations are reaping what they have sown.  The key to this kind of prayer is making righteous decision in our lives that agree with scripture.  When we walk in righteousness, God hears us and we are also given more authority.

Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

·       Technology has the capacity to do increasing harm upon the earth, inside the earth and in the atmosphere.  Powerful technology in the wrong hands manipulates evil plans upon, within and over the earth.  This is already taking place under cloak.  That cloak will be fully manifest in the book of Revelation.  The key to this kind of prayer is to vote and pray for moral leaders to move into key positions.  Pray that our laws will be just and reflect God’s goodness and protection over His people. 

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged… and should destroy them who destroy the earth.

·       Under divine restraint, God is allowing demonic plans to climax, so that the devil’s kingdom may be ultimately destroyed.  The key to this kind of prayer is to submit to God, climb higher in our intimacy with Him so that we can be supernaturally carried in a position of peace regardless of any storm.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

·       We are now in the climax years of His plan to usher in His kingdom upon the earth just as His kingdom is in heaven.  When God’s kingdom begins to manifest, there is persecution that rises against that.  Scripture says we enter into His kingdom through much tribulation.  The key to overcoming persecution is to read the red – the Words of Jesus and obey them. 

Matthew 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

 

God’s purpose for the earth is to restore it to its original purpose as when He walked and talked with Adam before he fell.    Align with His purposes through repentance, and pray for His restitution of all things.

Acts 3:19-21 Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, who before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
