CLIMAXES IN THE LAODICEAN CHURCH INTERCESSION
2/08/07
THE INTENSITY OF OUR GOD
I once received a vision (and several afterwards) of
wrestling with the prince over the famine for the Word
of God... that vision ended with the words, “Hell hath
no fury like a women scorned.” I am at the climaxing
tail end of a very long 23 year long intercession over
the Laodicean church and trying desperately to hang onto
those on the line of demarcation, that are ready to fall
off the cliff toward the wrong side.
I now understand a part of God I never saw before, the
part that loves so deeply and fiercely and has nothing
but goodness to give His loved ones. And yet even so,
they close off their hearts and refuse His Words and are
so independent and prideful that they do not even
realize their need for Him. I understand a part of His
nature that I never knew before... the fine line in His
emotions where one can not distinguish between His
jealous passion to have relationship with us and His
fury and wrath when He feels scorned. His emotions are
very intense, and we are so lukewarm we dont even know
how passionate our God is over us.
Today I prayed a prayer, that those who are in that
lukewarm place, having tested God's goodness and loving
knocks, that He do whatever it takes to convince them of
their need for Him. And I also prayed that He would
protect the righteous ones who walk in the trembling
fear of their God. The Lord told me I understood His
heart and the need for what is coming. I think that it
comforted Him that I understood Him. And then I was
filled with the most horrendous grief, knowing He feels
absolutely no pleasure at all in releasing His severe
side, for He loves us so much and finds no joy in our
sufferings, only intense grief. The only appeasement He
receives from this is when we finally repent and return
to Him. How little we know of the true love of our God.
1 John 4:16-18 NLT
God is love, and all who live in love live in God,
and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love
grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day
of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because
we are like Christ here in this world. Such love has
no fear because perfect love expels all fear. If we are
afraid, it is for fear of judgment, and this shows that
his love has not been perfected in us.
HEARD: You are absolutely right.
HEARD: Naked. The Lord is about to give us
His passion like we have never seen before.
VISION: I saw the wild mustang horses that I
have seen so many times. These are prodigals who are
running from their callings, who are not planted in
fellowship and wander in the wilderness. These
beautiful horses were eating the green grass in a lush
field.
HEARD: It was announced, you did the right
thing. I AM with you.
PIX: I saw a pony express rider taking off
like a bullet out of town with important news.
Rom 11:22 NLT
Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe
to those who disobeyed, but kind to you as you continue
to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you
also will be cut off.
Amos 8:11 NKJV
"Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD,
"That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of
bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words
of the LORD.
Rev 3:14-22 NKJV The Lukewarm Church
"And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans
write,'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True
Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 "I
know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I
could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because
you are lukewarm , and neither cold nor hot, I will
vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say,'I am
rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' —
and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor,
blind, and naked — 18 I counsel you to buy from Me
gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and
white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame
of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your
eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I
love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and
repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If
anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in
to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who
overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I
also overcame and sat down with My Father on His
throne. 22 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit says to the churches."'"
ANNIE’S VISIONS – BOOK 4
GOD’S FIERCE GRASP OF LOVE
When in prayer, the Lord took
me high up into His Cloud of His glory. I saw neither
angel nor any other being, on the pure glory and high
wonder of Jesus Himself. SO much higher is He than His
heavens, the even the heaven of heavens itself is a
lowly place compared to the One Who is it Author,
Creator and Sustainer.
There He showed me, in part,
the fierce desire of his love over His loved ones. I
saw it compared to the huge, hugging paws of a bear.
With a strange fierceness of flaming love, these strong
claws reached out and, as it were, seized hold upon the
love ones, drawing him inexorably unto Him.
These strong, claw-like,
golden instruments of tremendous size had two sharp
edges, which would enclose the one whom He loved and had
chosen for Himself. They seems to seize hold of only a
certain part of that person, the part which He wanted
for Himself, sheering off the other part in the process
that most deeply wounded the object of His love, and
taking His portion away from Himself alone. With
unimaginable intensity, He would seize hold upon that
one to devour him with a tremendous appetite and with a
violence and desperation that utterly amazed me.
The work of these very sharp
claws was a demonstration of His love in operations, for
His love for His own is exceedingly great, and His zeal
and jealously are flaming desires that only divine
nature can know. This revelation of His love was not
frightening to me, to the contrary, it seemed
wonderfully desirable to be so loved and drawn into God
Himself.
Deut 4:24 NKJV
For the LORD your God is a
consuming fire, a jealous God.
Ex 34:14-15 NKJV
...for you shall worship
no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous , is a
jealous God...
Deut 5:8-10 NKJV
... you shall not bow down
to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a
jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
the children to the third and fourth generations of
those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to
those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Song 8:6-7 NKJV
Set me as a seal upon your
heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as
death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are
flames of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters
cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it.
If a man would give for love all the wealth of his
house, it would be utterly despised.
James 4:3-5 NKJV
You ask and do not
receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on
your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not
know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world
makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the
Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us
yearns jealously "? |
