CLOSING OUR DOORS TO STRONG MEAT  1/03/08

HEARD:  Is there a reason to have barricaded my door? 

DREAM:  There were 2 men in white coats that came through our game room door to deliver my mail.  Wayne at the same time got a phone call and everything happened at once.  Wayne was wanting me to talk with a man on the phone and the 2 men were trying to deliver my mail.

I was outside on the patio and felt violated that they were in the house since I didnt know if they just came in or if Wayne had opened the door to them or what.  When asking them to leave, I told them to use the dining room door at the patio, instead of going back the way the came.  They were polite and of good countenance.  But I felt kind of badly, because when they arrived with my mail, they seemed a little befuddled at my reply because I then realized they had delivered me mail many, many times and they had always been welcome in my home. 

HEARD:  I am calling them doctor angels. 

CONFIRMATION PARABLE 1/04/08:  A light dawned upon me today as we closed down 2 of our phone numbers that were not being used and thus saving ourselves $1,500 a year.  I realized that the person Wayne wanted me to talk to in the dream was the man at the phone company, so I could change my personal cell phone, along with what he had done in closing down the other 2 lines.  In spiritual language phone lines represent having ears to hear God to us along with our speaking to Him in prayer and communion.

One of the lines we stopped was our FAQ line.  And in spiritual language that is a facsimile, or carbon copy of the real thing.  In other words, a FAQ represents a counterfeit.  The enemy can not come up with any creative word, he simply copies what has already been said and done. 

UPDATE COMMENTS  1/26/08:  I have pondered this rhema and the Lord reminded me of two times in my life where I specifically told the Lord that I did NOT want to hear Him speak to me about a certain subject any more, nor did I want Him speaking to me in that manner.  I had prayed and prayed about it, and wrestled with God for years.  Basically I was spitting out strong meat and not cooperating with Him.  Then I would go through famine just like the above dream represents, where I was outside my house, next to the dining room.  I would miss Him so badly, that I would recant and tell Him I was sorry and then with my permission, He simply began speaking to me again in like manner.  He was very patient, longsuffering and relentless... waiting for me to get off milk and eat strong meat.

Heb 5:12-14 NKJV

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

QUICKENED DREAM:  When God takes us off milk and speaks to us in strong meat, it is easy to become sifted, because we dont know if it is God speaking and if it is God, we dont understand what He is saying.  One time I had been left so sifted and upside down in hearing Him, that I just closed down hearing Him altogether.  I was really miserable and calling out to Him for deliverance. 

In response, He gave me a dream where I was driving home and my car did not make the corner, went off the road and stopped completely backwards.  I saw some angels knocking on my car window.  They were moving their mouths and waving their arms in pantomime because they knew I did not want to hear them.  They had brilliant smiles on their faces and had been sent to get my car back on the road and turn me in the right direction.  My heart was SO warmed to see their gracious response to my situation, and also humorous way of helping me see they knew I was unwilling to hear.  There was not one bit of condemnation coming from them at all.  They had been sent to serve me and they were doing so in whatever limited fashion I allowed.  I thought it was so hilarious that the Lord would send me angels that were moving their mouths but not speaking, I repented and told the Lord I was sorry for blocking Him. 

WORD TO PONDER:  CLOSING THE DOOR TO STRONG MEAT 1/03/08

Beloved ones, I have been slowly adding strong meat to your diet and bringing you off milk.  I understand this has been a long process of your growing in discernment and learning more about My nature.  For many years I have been long suffering and working to help you come to a decision about how to discern My voice and understand what I have been telling you.  I desire to bring clarity into your life but can not do so as long as you halt between 2 decisions. 

It is My desire that you make your decisions so that we can move away from wrestling.  Even though I have been relentless in knocking upon your door, I am honoring your desires to no longer wrestle over these things.  I respect your will and release you to your own choice about your limits and boundaries of how I speak to you.  I just want you to be sure, and dont want you to regret your choice.  This is a true change of season where lines of demarcation are being drawn based upon your own choices.  

Mark 4:24-25 NLT

And be sure to pay attention to what you hear. The more you do this, the more you will understand — and even more, besides.  25 To those who are open to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But to those who are not listening, even what they have will be taken away from them."
