COME KINGDOM OF HEAVEN 7/08/14
Lord today when I pray, I enter into my
private place. I pull down the shutters of my natural eyes
to close the door of distraction. I want to look only to
You, the Holy One Who is hidden there with me. I know that
You look upon my heart and heed what I say. You already
know what I need so I choose to speak only what is on my
heart right now, and not chatter with many words, for You
have already heard yesterday’s prayers. Lord should I
remind You of what You already know, it is only because I am
so desperate and I need the same thing today that You
provided yesterday. Thank You dear Father for Your daily
provision, how truly grateful I am! Your daily bread
sustains me, keeps me, strengthens me. Thank You.
Lord please do not retain my faults but
send them away! I have let go of others faults and not held
onto them. Please do not give me over to being proved as
You did Job and Peter’s sifting! Have mercy Lord, deliver
me from all evil! Let evil have nothing in me.
I have such passion and desire to see You
in heaven. I spend such energy wanting to reach You. And
yet Your desire is that heaven’s domain come to earth and
dwell with me! You want my permission even as I am asking
for Yours! How great is your longing to come to earth! For
Lord, You are the One Who rules. You are the Source of all
miraculous power. You are forever glorious - past, present
and future!
Matthew 6:6-13 But you, when you pray,
enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray
to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in
secret shall reward you openly. 7 But when you pray, use not
vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that
they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not
therefore like them: for your Father knows what things you
have need of, before you ask him. 9 After this manner
therefore pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be
your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For
yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
