AMAZING ANSWER TO PRAYER

Tonight I couldn’t get back to sleep and kept praying over Anna’s hair issue.  She cant remember to stop going to the beauty parlor at assisted living and she just doesn’t have the money to keep it up at the pace she is going.  I realize how important it is to her and want this for her so bad!  I talked to Wayne about it and we don’t have the luxury of giving that to her either. 

Based on the word study I did this week on the word COMMIT, finally I told the Lord I committed Anna’s hair problem to Him and was so surprised when I heard Him reply back, “Consider it DONE”.  When I heard that, I had a revelation of trusting in the Lord’s FAITHFULNESS to carry it through for me.  It reminded me of having a faithful husband who always carried through with “honey-do” lists.  That phrase really connected with me and I was so glad I did the study on the word Commit!

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.

WORD STUDY COMMIT:

I found it interesting that the word commit means to roll away.  I am reminded of a bowling ball that you aim and release or let it go in the right direction!

UPDATE:  Less than 12 hours after I committed it to the Lord, when I brought Anna back to assisted living tonight, the receptionist came to me and said that she talked to Anna’s hairdresser (after my having said that when her hair money is out in her account at assisted living, we wont be paying any more because she cant afford to continue having it done at the pace she is requesting.  The beautician told her that Anna was such a lovely lady and she wanted to continue for free! 

I was amazed at the continued favor of the Lord upon Anna’s life!  I have witnessed this her whole life and it still continues in her old age.  She has amazing stories of the Lord’s provision.  He has been her Husband since 1969 and He has been faithful to provide for her!  Lord, Your love is amazing!

Dear heart, please do not worry about your provision.  I sustain all that is living and see to the most intricate details.  Just as the birds are fed and the flowers grow, I know exactly what you need and promise to take care of your needs.  Simply commit by rolling over all that concerns you into MY capable hands.  I will do more than you expect, for I AM your faithful Husband Who follows through with My promises to you!
