RHEMA
7/15/09 CONTENDING FOR OUR COMMISSION
PIX:
I saw a huge giant redwood tree fall.
I have seen many trees fall in the past and they always
represent people whose lives are being harvested.
HEARD:
Sweetheart, I am so sorry. Patriarch.
CONFIRMATION: I found out a few days later that
Frances Hunter went on to be with Jesus. Frances
trained me from the age of 16 with her passionate
books. In the late 1970’s a group of 4 of us went to
her healing school training in the coliseum. She taught
us to speak to the mountains of various sickness and
command them to be removed. She later wrote “To Heal
the Sick.”
Mark 11:22-24 NKJV
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in
God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to
this mountain , 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those
things he says will be done, he will have whatever he
says.

Frances Eileen Hunter was born May 8, 1916 in a small
town in Illinois at a whopping 2 pounds and placed in a
shoe box, not expected to live for an hour much less 93
years. She is survived by her spouse of 39 years,
Charles Hunter (88).
Together, she and Charles have authored over 65 books.
Millions of copies have been given away and sold during
the 40 years of their anointed healing ministry. Many of
these books have been translated into major languages of
the world. Charles and Frances, better known as "The
Happy Hunters", cheerfully ministered all across the USA
as well as in 49 foreign countries. They are considered
"Mom" and "Dad" to all the spiritual children they have
birthed around the globe. In addition, many miracle
babies were named Charles or Frances because Frances had
a special anointing when she prayed for couples who
wanted children.
UPDATE COMMENTS: I prayed and asked the Lord why
He said that He was so sorry. I knew it was a personal
Word straight to me, spoken with so much compassion in
His voice. Several days later I woke with the
remembrance of my history and I realized I had
suppressed much of this overcoming and not realized the
significance.
I remember being a fire ball student in that coliseum
school. When Frances released her pupils to go out into
the audience, I made a bee line straight to the
wheelchair section on the coliseum floor. I landed in
front of a lady who did not receive her healing, who to
this day is not healed, and also has the same disease as
my husband.
Myself and others have prayed countless prayers of
authority over his disease throughout the years,
contending for the healing that is the children’s
bread. I know it has been many years of intercession
and standing that this gift be returned to the body of
Christ.
As I reflected on my child-like passion to head straight
for the wheel chair section, I saw the irony that in the
arthritic flare I have suffered this difficult season, I
have been fighting to stay mobile with my own ability to
walk. The soul pain of suffering so much loss of
lifestyle, the testings of my faith, the purging of my
dross, it has all taken its toll. And my eyes are
opened and now I understand the preciousness of the
compassion in the Lord’s voice. Even though I have
suppressed much pain and dont keep it in remembrance,
the Lord does.
There is an entire generation of baby boomer believers
who have also circled in the wilderness with their aging
parents, waiting for the healing to be returned to the
people in the body of Christ. We will not be denied,
nor will we give up as the next generation is lining up
and also waiting for His glory.
I am grateful for the legacy of Frances and others who
have stood their whole lives contending for God’s Words
and living for the day when His Spirit will flood the
earth with His glory and Presence. This is our
commission:
Mark 16:15-18 NKJV
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be
saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My
name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new
tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they
drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick , and they will
recover."
Acts 3:19-21 NKJV
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may
be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come
from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send
Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom
heaven must receive until the times of restoration of
all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His
holy prophets since the world began. |
