RHEMA 11/13/06
CORRECTED FOR BETTER CHOICES
HEARD:
We stand corrected.
PIX:
I saw someone underline a sentence that said, “As if it
were YOU.”
HEARD:
Repentance. What it must have been like. Death to
self. To want something so badly, then let it go.
Comfort My people.
WORD TO PONDER:
CORRECTION, THE WAY TO RIGHT LIVING 11/13/06
Yes, when I shine My
light upon a crooked place, it hurts to see the truth.
It hurts to see what choices caused such pain and it
hurts to see the ramifications of all that has happened
as a result. My love, the purpose of correction is not
to leave you in groaning pain, but to inspire you to
make new choices. New choices is simply turning your
back on the old ones that were wrong and did not work.
New choices IS repentance. As you confess the wrong
choices and turn away from such, this is death to self.
It is releasing that part of you that does not line up
with My truth and My image, and allowing Me to set you
free to walk in a new liberty.
Heb 12:10-11 AMP
He disciplines us for
our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own
holiness. For the time being no discipline brings joy,
but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields
a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have
been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in
righteousness — in conformity to God's will in purpose,
thought, and action, resulting in right living and right
standing with God]. |
