PARABLE: DECORATING GINGERBREAD MEN 12/04/10
My grandkids came over a couple days ago and we
decorated gingerbread men. The kit came with everything
we needed, so all we had to do was mix the icing with
butter. We cut gum drops in half with scissors and
smeared icing on the back and glued the drops onto the
feet with the icing. We cut the tips of candied corn
candy and painted the backs with icing and placed them
for the hands. We cut another gum drop and fastened it
as a hat. We glued little sugar beads down the fronts
as buttons. And we put little eyes and mouths on the
faces.
Job 29:4-6 KJV
As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of
God was upon my tabernacle; When the Almighty was yet
with me, when my children were about me; When I washed
my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers
of oil.
Ex 29:7 NKJV
And you shall take the anointing oil, pour it on his
head, and anoint him.
(The word anoint comes from a Hebrew word meaning to rub
or paint with oil. #4888 from 4896)
Isa 22:23 NKJV
I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, and he
will become a glorious throne to his father's house.
WORD TO PONDER: FASTENING YOU WITH MY ANOINTING

I love to liberally smear My anointing upon My loved
ones! That means YOU, My dear child! Give Me your feet
and I will rub them gently with My healing and anointing
balm, so that you no longer walk with bruised feet.
Sweet shall be the steps of the righteous! Give Me your
hands and during the harvest, I will pour My anointing
oil into them and fasten your impartation with radical
confirmations. Give Me your thoughts, and I will pour
My anointing upon you so that you will have the mind of
Christ. Give Me your eyes and mouths so I can
consecrate them holy and acceptable and liberally anoint
you to see and speak My Word. My promise is to fasten
you in a sure, strong place where you will dwell in the
anointing and authority of My throne forever.
