TEACHING - DISCERNING THE DEVIL IN FALSE PROPHESY 11/03/16
Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, who come to
you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves. 16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men
gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so
every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt
tree brings forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot
bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that brings not forth
good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20
Therefore by their fruits you shall know them.
Sometimes people tell me they are fearful of being a
false prophet and not knowing it. It is my
understanding that if someone is concerned of such, then
they are not. Rather they are working out their own
salvation and in the process of cleansing their soul so
that what they see and hear are good gifts from God.
Philippians 2:12-13 Therefore, my beloved, as you have
always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much
more in my absence, work out your own salvation with
fear and trembling. 13 For it is God who works in you
both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
I am reminded of what the Lord told Annie in Annie’s
Visions: Those who were not His at all were devoid
of fear, being certain that all was right with them. His
own ones were careful and trembled before Him in the
fear of the Lord. But those other ones had no fear at
all and were deceitfully secure in their false state.
Isaiah 66:2 For all those things has my hand made, and
all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this
man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a
contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
The Lord told us to discern/ separate the FRUITS of
those who are deceived. Fruit is the product of the
seeds someone is feeding and nurturing in their life.
Scripture tells us the fruit of the devil is to:
· Steal
· Kill
· Destroy
· Accuse
· Lie
· Devour
· Inspire
lust of the eyes
· Inspire
lust of the flesh
· Inspire
pride and a haughty, unteachable spirit
· Etc
John 10:10 The thief comes not, but to steal, and to
kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of
the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of
life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
John 8:44 You are of your
father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will
do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not
in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he
speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar,
and the father of it.
If a person is partnering with or feeding upon the above
seeds, they are going to begin to produce these things
from their own hearts, through their words and thoughts,
dreams and visions.
It is actually quite simple
to discern the difference between good and evil. God
can only give good gifts and He is the Father of light.
The devil cannot give good gifts, he either makes a
facsimile (copy) of good gifts or he produces that which
is clearly dark and evil.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is
from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Occasionally the Lord will reveal what is going on in
the second heaven, (places where the wicked rulers
dwell) so that they come to light and be destroyed. He
will also reveal these things as warnings for His
children to separate from the darkness, lest they be
destroyed with it.
If a person is only hearing and seeing second heaven
things, or always in warfare, the Lord is calling them
to come up higher above the snake line. It is my
personal opinion that if a
person is only hearing and seeing what the devil does,
they are vessels of dishonor
and not vessels of honor.
When I see or hear something
from the devil, I candle what I have been feeding upon.
I do not want to be a chamber pot but a vessel prepared
for His glory.
Romans 9:21 Has not the potter power over the clay, of
the same lump to make one vessel unto
honor, and another unto
dishonor?
2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only
vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of
earth; and some to honor,
and some to dishonor.
There are some prophets who prophesy both sides of good
and evil that is coming. It is very easy to discern bad
news and prophesy it and watch it come to pass. That
doesn’t make someone a prophet. It is much harder to
know and express the heart of God to expose for His
purposes so that His people repent and pray that these
things will not come to pass. God’s heart is to call
people to prayer and repentance and stand in the gap.
He looks the world over for those who have His heart in
prophesying.
Ezekiel 22:30-31 And I sought for a man among them, that
should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me
for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found
none. 31 Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon
them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath:
their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says
the Lord GOD.
