RHEMA 8/20/01 THINKING OF
QUITTING?
HEARD [Walking down the hallway] I quit.
INTERESTING TYPO: I first typed the above fallway.
Then I corrected the typo to gallway. Then I fixed it to
hallway. I felt this was a warning NOT to quit. If we
quit after such a long time of waiting and hoping for
Him, our faith will fall, then turn from passion to
bitter gall.
HEARD: Wings. Are you ready? Safe passage.
Launch. I assure you. You will be well taken care of.
Needs met.
WORD TO PONDER: DON’T QUIT, JUST REST 8/24/03
When you are so weary you can not take another step,
know that I AM with you. When you think that you have
taken your last breath, know that I AM with you. When
you think you have spent your last dime, know that I AM
with you.
You feel that you are on your last leg because the
passion and zeal that you once felt is gone. It is not a
time to quit, dear one. Just rest. Rest in Me. Yes, the
climb has been long and tough, but now is not the time
to retreat or look back. You must move on. Just say you
are willing, then call upon Me and I will sweep you in
My arms and carry you, up, up and over the top. How, you
ask? It is in those times when we fellowship together,
as you experience My nearness and are touched by our
communion, that you receive My supernatural grace to
continue. So rest in My arms of love, once again.
“Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I
beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and
righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth
the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return
unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt
bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul
from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from
falling. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the
living.” (Ps 116:4-9 KJV)
WORD TO PONDER: MUCH JOY IS COMING 10/13/03
Precious one, I know your heart is so tired. I continue
to say rest, but don’t quit. Beloved, so much joy is
coming your way. You think it will not be enough to fill
the depth of the need. Yes it will, says the Lord your
God. I AM coming with My manifest Presence. I will kiss
My people with My love and with My power. I have heard
their cry. I AM enough.
“I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at
my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart
is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest
in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor
will You allow Your Holy one to see corruption. You will
show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness
of joy.” (Psalm 16:8-11 NKJV)
