EXERCISING FAITH

We are but shadows of the real thing. Soon I was
exercising my great faith.

foreshadowing of [what has its true existence and

DREAM: I
was climbing a ladder very, very high. I didn’t want to
look down. I very carefully placed one foot on each
rung. When I got to the top I threw myself over the edge
and just laid there totally spent. When I awakened my
tummy felt funny. The dream was so real it was as though
I had actually just climbed that ladder.

WORD VOCABULARY: I have had many dreams where I am doing
some sort of exercising in order to get somewhere, like
pedaling a bike, climbing a ladder, etc. In all of these
they are a parables of the strength of will and faith to
pursue the Lord and believe His Word, in spite of all
the obstacles.

Help me. I will. One step at a time you will grow up out
of your place. Faith conquers. Go for it.

VISION:
ARMY OF CANKERWORMS
In the
early 80’s I saw the army of cankerworms coming in
masses over the hills and valleys. Everywhere their
slime touched, they left gaping holes in people. The
only way to keep from being "slimed" was to vigorously
exercise one’s conscience. In the vision I had walked
inside a school and the cankerworms had left their slime
all over the walls, floors and ceilings. I headed for a
small room where there were people doing aerobics. They
were told it was the only way to avoid being touched by
the cankerworms.
In the
scripture about the cankerworms, we have the Lord’s
promise, "And I will restore to you the years that the
locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar,
and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among
you… And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall
see visions. And also on My menservants and on My
maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days."
(Joel 2: 25, 28,29)
I
understood that exercising meant they were exercising
self discipline and restraint to follow their
conscience. As they did so, they were protected from the
slime.
Acts
24:16 NKJV
This
being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience
without offense toward God and men.

HEARD:
Yes, little one. Faith. Perfected. Soon I will be
sanctified in you before their eyes. Here we have a
story of Joshua's conquering. What does that mean? You
have plowed without a tractor. Hard work. Dug by hand.
Hot sun. Tired muscles. Good job. Soil is soft. The
weeds are gone. Tired. I will strengthen. Shovel is
faith.

HEARD:
Blessed are your eyes when they do not see. Your faith
is moving mountains. Not just by the shovel full. Now
you are using a bulldozer. It will be a quick work.
Continue to walk in wisdom. I will protect you. No
weapon formed against you shall prosper.

WINGS OF
FAITH
A quote
from the article, "To Fly Like an Eagle" by Sandy Warner
"When I
think of wings, I consider them to be parables of our
wings of faith. Faith is a heart condition where we
stretch out and reach toward the Lord, while the winds
of His Spirit holds us afloat. When we flap our wings,
we are vigorously exercising our faith through works,
based upon what we believe the Lord has told us. And
when we soar, we are resting in our trust in the Lord
and letting Him carry us amidst the surrounding terrain.
The Lord teaches us through faith, how to rise above
difficulties and hindrances in our life. We learn how to
rise high enough to gain His perspective on what is
below. As I was praying about the concept of soaring
with wings as eagles, I heard the Lord say that we want
a formula. He said there is no formula, only to abide in
Him." (John 12:46, 14:16, 15:4,6,7,10)

CONCLUSION
============
{Words
to Ponder are summaries of His quickened Words of
prophetic revelation, punched with the word of wisdom
and written under inspiration.}
WORD TO
PONDER: EXERCISING YOUR FAITH
I have
trained you to exercise your faith in all matters. These
steps of faith have been in small increments like
climbing a ladder. How proud I have been to see your
spiritual muscles grow as you conquer all obstacles. How
pleased I have been to see you carefully follow your
conscience so that you give no reason for reproach from
the enemy. The mountains that were once before you are
now eradicated. All that is left is freshly plowed soil,
with no weeds and ready for planting.
Your
journey has been a long climb, dear one. Through the
process I have given you wings. Now you will fly above
it all and take little notice of the enemy under foot.
Ps 55:6
NKJV
So I
said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly
away and be at rest.
