RHEMA 8/10/98: Electricity and Food Storage

PIX: I saw a small freezer almost completely empty of food.

HEARD: Establish interpretation. Going to need it. Help. Stock pile. Rice.

I felt that the freezer had lost electricity and prayed on whether it was a good idea to stock pile some food. That day on errands my eyes were drawn and quickened to the following signs.

• On the way to the car: I had just replenished the Ibuprofen to stock in our car and it fell out.

• While at one of our business clients for a delivery: I handed them a $299.60 invoice, in which they had already made a check over the weekend, and they go to open the cash register, and it won't open. I was stunned, thinking about the fact it was a CHECK and not cash, and also the fact that the cash register would not even open. It was a register operating on electricity.

• QUICKENED GLANCES [while on deliveries this morning. I prayed, Lord bring on more confirmations please.} The moment I said please, my eyes look up and there is a sign right above saying, “STORAGE.”

• QUICKENED SIGN: Goodwill Donation.

• QUICKENED SIGN: Store All.

[I was then thinking about the Mormon canning factory where they can food in 10 pound metal cans.]

• QUICKENED GLANCE: My eyes fell on the window at the paint store. There were pictures of gallon cans of paint. These are the same size as the 10 pound cans I was thinking about. I have driven by this store 5 times a week for 7 years and never noticed their signs before.

• QUICKENED GLANCE: CASH CONNECTION.

• QUICKENED GLANCE: Propane storage.

• QUICKENED SIGN: Mini Storage.

• QUICKENED GLANCE: A squirrel. [They store food for winter.]

Just as I am pondering the squirrel and the fact they store food for the winter, a huge truck is waiting for me to turn the corner, as I am just sitting there staring at the squirrel. The truck needs my lane, so he honks. But as I am thinking about all this, my eyes look directly near my car door, and bug out:

• QUICKENED GLANCE: There is a red fire hydrant with a sign posted over it. It says, “OUT.” I was barely able to breathe I was so astonished at the thought of no water. At that moment, the truck honks at me.

• QUICKENED SIGN: Canning jars, 15¢.

• QUICKENED PRODUCTS [jumping out at me while at the store]: Briquettes. Masa. Salt. Rice.

QUICKENED EXPERIENCE: As I was cleaning off the front grill to the electric heater grill in the bathroom, I

HEARD: My daughter.

The moment I heard this, I got an electric shock through my pointer, prophetic finger. I was quite stunned by the whole thing and felt the experience was strong meat. The electric shock hurt. I asked Wayne and he said it was a 220 volt.

UPDATE COMMENT 10/7/98: after thinking about this, I feel that it was a parable of being SHOCKED by the ramifications of living without electricity. Even now a month later I have been groaning under the intercession and realization of people that I know who will lose their homes and jobs because of this. There are many businesses out there that cannot survive 3 months w/o electricity then bounce back afterwards and still stay in business. Many businesses will be closing. This does not include the reality that some banks will be closing.

WORD TO PONDER THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES 9/8/98

The earth is going through transition and many pressures will arise. It will be a time of strong contrasts and shakings in the spirit. The enemy will try to steal, kill and destroy. And I ask for death to self, that the old man will die and the new man will live through Me. The difference is that after death, I bring multiplication and new life. I want to give you a new life of abundance and that is why I came to earth.

RHEMA 9/12/98: SERVANT'S DUTY TO STORE FOOD

I was thinking about storing food, even if it was for an intercession and never needed by ourselves.

AH: I turned with anointed hands to the scriptures in my Bible: Blessed is the man that is like a tree planted by the river. He shall not see when the heat comes, but his leaf shall be green and he will not be careful in the year of drought. Neither shall he cease from yielding fruit. Divine inspiration. Occupy till I come. Goods (with my pointer finger in the back of the concordance.) Do this. Servants duty.

RHEMA 9/27/98: Y2K BRINGS WITH IT DISTRACTING SPIRITS

Our church had a Y2K meeting last night. I felt I should go to see what their view on it was. Personally I felt that the Lord was using the Y2K media scare to prepare the world for tough times, and as a wake up call to turn to the Lord. I felt it was His mercy to do so. The meeting was intensely filled with the comments of people who were fearful and anxious.

Y2K COUNTDOWN EXPERIENCE:

I said, “Lord will You multiply the stuff if it is needed?” [I looked at the clock saying, “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” At the exact moment the clock turned to zero I heard Him say, “Yes!” The clock said:

THE SNARE OF CARE, A WORD FROM THE LORD:

I spent the middle of the night binding anxiety, care, fear, and the inability to focus. After I attended the Y2K meeting last night I was barraged with these spirits, and I had no reason to struggle with them as I have had peace about food storage for whatever reason. I picked these sprits up at the meeting and lost 3 hours of sleep because of it. This morning I turned to the following 2 things on “Care”, back to back.

AH: Be careful (3309) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep (5432) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)

I had previously written in the margin, “Don't worry, just pray. Worry is a control matter. Give God control!”

DISTRACTION

You have a divided heart. Many responsibilities pull and tug and demand your attention. Only one will do. And that is to follow Me.

You have yet to understand what it means to cast your care upon Me. My burden is light and easy when you are yoked with Me. For two oxen at a plough divide the load and neither feel the true weight of the burden. But ensnared by the tangled cares, you have forgotten your resting place; that place where you bring all that divides your time and energy back to Me - allowing Me My place by your side, helping divide your load and partnering with you to get the job done.

Bring your responsibilities back to Me and let us rearrange your priorities. Together we will divide the load and not your heart. Together, in one mind, one purpose we will get the job done and you will find joy and energy in the process.

UPDATE CONFIRMATION: The following day I emptied some notes on the table. I picked one up and turned it over. In very, very tiny writing, my son had written on it, “DON'T WORRY.” I was flabbergasted and took it in and asked him when he had written it. He said about 5 months ago. I stuck it on my computer monitor to remind me of the Lord's Word.

UPDATE CONFIRMATION: The next evening at home group, when one of our intercessors prayed, he began his prayer with the same verse: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

RHEMA 10/1/98: FOOD FOR A COLD SEASON

HEARD: Three months.

DREAM REVELATION: During the night I was dreaming that we have yet to know the Lord through His name Jehovah Jirah, which means God provides.

QUICKENED TYPO: I just typed a typo on the above word “entered” as wnetered. When I clicked on it to spell check it, it came up “WINTERED!!!!!!”

HEARD: Mystery. Testimony. Goshen.

[The Lord took care of the Israelites in Goshen.]

HEARD: Some simple advice, stay simple.

PIX: The side view of an eyeball with a long focus. It was like a cartoon eyeball that was stretched and elongated in the back side, as though it has a long, straight focus on something far away.

HEARD: Solve this. Scientific puzzle. It's not working. It must have worked years ago. Buy grain.
