ENTER IN WITH DILIGENCE: 5/04/13
I have been waking up in the middle of the night and
praying in tongues a LOT in order to breakthrough. This
has been a burden to pray in tongues more during the day
and some days it seems like all day long but I know that
isn’t so. I have found that if I pray more during the
night I hear Him better.
Today I suddenly wondered if I kept it up, if I would
get the breakthrough we are needing as we have been
facing some heavy duty hindrances.
PRAYING UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS: P U S H
I was thinking about how Kat Kerr said she pursued the
Lord for a whole year and then one day the Lord showed
up and told her He was going to start taking her to
trips to heaven. Wayne and I had also talked about how
Neville spent 1 year sitting still in His Presence and
Sadhu spent 6 months getting in the middle of the night
to pray before their received their increase in the
Lord. Just as I was thinking this, I turned on Perry
Stone and he was speaking about the Keys of intercessory
Prayer. I turned it on just as he was saying the
following!
QUOTE PERRY STONE – From the Keys of Intercessory
Prayer
“It appears to be from scripture these individuals
knew there were specific periods of time when they would
pray that maybe there would be a more open window of
heaven or perhaps
they were building up their prayer vile up in heaven.
So that as in Acts 10, Cornelious, his prayers and alms
eventually came up before God as a memorial. Is it
possible that he was praying during that prayer time.”
Acts 10:1-4 There was a certain man in Caesarea
called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the
Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God
with all his house, who gave much alms to the people,
and prayed to God 2always. 3 He saw in a vision
evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of
God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What
is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and your
alms are come up for a memorial before God.
UPDATE 5/08/13: Todd said tonight that in 1989
he prayed for 12 hours a day for 3 months that God would
give him the healing anointing. He prayed for over
1,000 people before they got healed. He also said the
John H Lakes prayed for 6 months before he got the
anointing to heal.

“I want to be identified as part of the generation of
Jacob. I seek His face every day – all day! How about
you? I wanted this experience to continue, but there
were things He wanted me to see. I began to see the
faces of other people who were seeking His presence.
Some of them seemed to
be straining to use every bit of spiritual authority and
gifting they carried to get into His presence. It didn’t
seem to be working, and they pressed in with more and
more of their strength. You see that was the problem.
They were trying to do it in their own strength.
We are not able to make this happen. It is all by the
Holy Spirit. Remember Ephesians 2:18, “For through Him
(Jesus) we both have access by one Spirit to the
Father.” May we always go to the Holy Spirit and place a
claim on this promise in the Word of God! May you
experience being drawn into His presence by the Holy
Spirit when you access this promise through faith in His
Word!

SANDY COMMENTS: Praying can be inspired by a
burden to prayer, it can be inspired by hunger and
thirst for more of God. It can be inspired by obligation
and duty and flesh. Or it can be inspired simply by
being faithful because you choose to love. The key is
to ask yourself, “Why am I praying and how am I doing
this?”
He does promise He will reward {recompense, render,
restore, deliver, requite} those who
diligently
seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that comes to God must believe that
he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
