TO BE ESTABLISHED - TO BE SET UP FIRM
RHEMA 5/9/00: I WILL ESTABLISH YOU
HEARD: I heard the Lord say, I am maturing
you quickly. Setting you like concrete.
[This was very comforting to me as I was feeling very
unstable and insecure.]
HOLY SPIRIT REMINDER: I suddenly remembered that
at home group last year someone saw my feet planted in
concrete and said my feet would become set and stable
and that there would be no foot mold quite like mine.
CONFIRMATION ANOINTED HANDS: I turned in my Bible
to this scripture:
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and
hath anointed us, is God;”
(2 Cor 1:21)
When I looked up the word Stablisheth, it means to
confirm the foot!
STUDY FROM THE STRONG’S EXHAUSTIVE CONCORDANCE:
NT:950 bebaioo (beb-ah-yo'-o); from NT:949; to
stabilitate (figuratively): KJV - confirm, (e-)
stablish.
{The second number 949 means the word was taken from the
root word of #949:}
NT:949 bebaios (beb'-ah-yos); from the base of
NT:939 (through the idea of basality); stable
(literally or figuratively): KJV - firm, of force,
stedfast, sure.
NT:939 basis (bas'-ece); from baino (to walk); a
pace ("base"), i.e. (by implication) the foot:
KJV - foot.
WORD TO
PONDER: I will establish you 5/09/00
Beloved, even though you feel unstable and insecure, I
want you to know I will set your life like concrete. I
will plant your feet firmly so that you will be strong
and be able to stand. Your walk in Me will become
firmly steadfast and sure. Do not fear Beloved, I AM
the One Who establishes you. It is My promise.
2 Cor 1:21 AMP
But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and
establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ,
and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the
gifts of the Holy Spirit].
RHEMA 3/25/03 SETTING UP FIRM
HEARD: God's touch on earth. Be like Him.
Touch. Watch. Be a handmaiden. My dear one. Scars no
longer.
PIX: I saw a liquid jello poured into the
little bowls at our eating table.
HEARD: I'm setting you up. To be established,
not to fall. Get your eyes off man.

TO ESTABLISH = {Greek} To set fast, confirm,
strengthen, to make stiff, stable, stand, solid.
2 Thess 3:3 NKJV
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish {4741}
you and guard you from the evil one.
NT:4741 sterizo (stay-rid'-zo); from a presumed
derivative of NT:2476 (like NT:4731); to set fast,
i.e. (literally) to turn resolutely in a certain
direction, or (figuratively) to confirm:
KJV - fix, (e-) stablish, stedfastly set, strengthen.
NT:4731
NT:4731 stereos (ster-eh-os'); from NT:2476; stiff, i.e.
solid, stable (literally or figuratively):
KJV - stedfast, strong, sure.
NT:2476
NT:2476 histemi (his'-tay-mee); a prolonged form of a
primary stao (stah'-o) (of the same meaning, and used
for it in certain tenses); to stand (transitively or
intransitively), used in various applications (literally
or figuratively):
KJV - abide, appoint, bring, continue, covenant,
establish, hold up, lay, present, set (up), stanch,
stand (by, forth, still, up).
WORD TO PONDER TO SET UP 3/25/03
Dear one, you are like liquid jello in your lack of
confidence. Yes I have stripped you of many layers that
did not belong to you. And yes the stripping hurt when
you resisted My will and clung to your old nature.
Now after your surgery, you are weak and timid and shaky
and lacking in confidence. Self confidence on its own is
the pride and fall of man, generated by an independent
and haughty spirit. God confidence is gained through a
great time of weakness and learning to lean upon Me.
I want to bring you into a balance where you are
confident in My work and promises in your life. Why
would I leave you stripped, naked, shaky and unconfident
when I AM your loving Daddy? Whey would I leave you so
weak when I need you to touch an even weaker world
through your hands? I desire you to become stable,
assured, confident and built up. I will set you firm and
establish you strongly.
“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God
and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting
consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts
and establish you in every good word and work.” (2 Thess
2:16-17 NKJV) |
