FLAT FINGERS  1/29/03

DREAM: I went to check out my hands and fingers at the doctors. The Doc said I had the lowest finger pad beds in the world. He said I could go on 700 club and share that as a world record. He was measuring the thickness or depth of the place where I type at the keyboard or play keys on the piano. They had been thoroughly flattened and made low with use.

I think that is very funny! Since 1984 I have been typing non stop and before that, I played piano non stop!! God has a wonderful sense of humor and He loves to speak to us with tongue in cheek with truth that punches right to the point. 

APPLICATION:  The longer we serve the Lord, the more we take the lowly places of servanthood, and that is sometimes incongruous with winning world's records and being world reknown on TV.  The fact of the matter is that when we serve, we are made low with use.
