GET READY FOR THE LION OF JUDAH  TO ROAR 2/03/07

I received a progressive Word.  I saw a long valley, miles long filled with watchman warming themselves over their fires at night.  They were doing nothing except waiting upon the Lord.  Their faces were glowing and hands were warmed.  I felt that the fires were His fire of comfort for being in a dark and cold place.

Then I heard the Lord tell me they stood in unity, shoulder to shoulder.  It was light now and they were all facing down the valley in one direction and just standing there waiting on the Lord.  I heard the Lord say, “Get ready, it’s coming.  My roar.”  And then the following occurred simultaneously at the same time.

The Lion of Judah stood at the end of the valley and He was filled with a roaring hunger to take the prey and devour the works of darkness.  At the same time that He felt this and roared, He filled the waiting ranks of watchmen with the same appetite and their roar to devour the works of darkness and their roar filled and flooded the valley.  They had no idea how hungry they were for this, until the Lion filled them with the same appetite that He was feeling.  The reverberations of the roar in the valley was very impacting to my spirit.

CONFIRMATIONS  FIRE:  There were 3 other people who had visions related to fires tonight during prayer.  As it is our custom, we dont share what we see or hear until after prayer and silence in waiting on the Lord.  One saw flint and steel in order to start a fire.  One saw coals that the Lord blew upon to bring it to flame, and another saw the stirring of fire to kindle it.

CONFIRMATIONS VALLEY: There were 2 other valley visions during prayer tonight.  One saw foot soldiers taking a valley.  Another saw a dark valley and then it was swept with a light wave.

WORD TO PONDER:  GATHERED AND HUNGRY TO DEVOUR THE WORKS OF DARKNESS  2/03/07

I AM gathering my watchman and foot soldiers into a valley of unity. Even when in the midst of dark and cold nights, I have kept them warm by their watch fires.  They have waited upon Me in the night season and waited for My Word.  Soon the day breaks and My call is upon them to stand as one army, shoulder to shoulder, pressed together to fill the gaps.  Facing one direction and ready, they wait for My call.

I come as the Lion of Judah, enflamed with hunger to devour the prey, the works of darkness.  As I roar, I too fill My people with My appetite and they also roar as they are ready to overcome the prey and devour the works of darkness.  Our roar fills the valley and it reverberates with My power.

Isa 5:26-30 NKJV

He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar, and will whistle to them from the end of the earth; Surely they shall come with speed, swiftly. No one will be weary or stumble among them, no one will slumber or sleep; Nor will the belt on their loins be loosed, nor the strap of their sandals be broken; Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; Their horses' hooves will seem like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind. Their roaring will be like a lion, they will roar like young lions; Yes, they will roar And lay hold of the prey ;They will carry it away safely, and no one will deliver. In that day they will roar against them Like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks to the land, behold, darkness and sorrow; and the light is darkened by the clouds.

Isa 31:4-5 NKJV

For thus the LORD has spoken to me: "As a lion roars, and a young lion over his prey (When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice nor be disturbed by their noise), So the LORD of hosts will come down  to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.  Like birds flying about, So will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; passing over, He will preserve it."

Ps 104:19-22  NKJV

He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.  You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about.  The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.  When the sun rises, they gather together  and lie down in their dens.

A friend shared this scripture with me from the King James version that Jesus literally roared when He was on the cross.  She said, when Jesus let out the loud cry from the cross, it was a roar.  The centurions marveled at it because no one hanging on a cross had the strength to roar like that.  It was because of it that the centurion said, "Surely this was the Son of God."

Ps 22:1  KJV

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my ROARING?

2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying,8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

Matthew Henry’s Commentary about Mark 15:39

V1. The centurion who commanded the detachment which had the oversight of the execution was convinced, and confessed that this Jesus was the Son of God, v. 39. One thing that satisfied him, was, that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost: that one who was ready to give up the ghost, should be able to cry out so, was very surprising. Of all the sad spectacles of this kind he never observed the like; and that one who had strength to cry so loud, should yet immediately give up the ghost, this also made him wonder; and he said, to the honour of Christ, and the shame of those that abused him, Truly this man was the Son of God. But what reason had he to say so?
