3/23/19 GIVING HONOR TO THE WEAKER
ONES
I saw and I was looking up at a large city bus and also a
tram. I saw that they changed their path/ positions to go
around a lady in a wheel chair. She seemed very small in
comparison of their looming power. I had the impression of
honor in giving preference to the weakest vessel.
I take grandma Anna on my errands. When I have to get out
of the car, I take her with me in her wheelchair. I find
great pleasure in her abiding and gentle company and giving
her chances to get out and about. She enjoys it so much and
rarely forgets to say how thankful and grateful she is. It
gives me so much pleasure to give to her.
I have made sacrifices in my life and ministry to be
minister to her at the level I am able. I prayed a long
time about the decision and feel I am pleasing the Lord by
giving her this priority in her old age as she is needy.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and
especially for those of his own house, he has denied the
faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
Acts 20:35 I have showed you all things, how that so
laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the
words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to
give than to receive.
Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the
weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
3/20/19 MAKE A DIFFERENCE
I am establishing you. Quickly. Follow through. Make a
difference to those around you.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us
do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the
household of faith.
GIVING HONOR RELEASES MIGHTY WORKS 6/17/11
Beloved ones, watch your speech
and be careful of criticism. Even though Miriam had natural
privileges as Moses' sister to speak into his life, she was
held accountable for challenging his level of authority. I
cast her out to be separated and isolated for a season.
Give honor to whom honor is due. Honor your father and
mother, honor widows, honor the king, honor elders and honor
the
weaker
vessels. Honor all people. Honor releases gifts and faith
to flow even to the point of mighty works.
When I
ministered in My home town of Nazareth, I was without honor
and seen as a mere man. People were deeply offended in Me
and they did not believe. They lacked faith in My divine
mission from the Father and I only did a few miracles there
because of their unbelief.
Mt 13:57-58 AMP
And they took offense at Him
[they were repelled and hindered from acknowledging His
authority, and caused to stumble]. But Jesus said to them, A
prophet is not without honor except in his own country and
in his own house. 58 And He did not do many works of power
there, because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in the
divine mission of Jesus).
1Sa 2:30 KJV
Wherefore the Lord God of
Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of
thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord
saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will
honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
Nu 12:2-3;
8-10;
13-15 NKJV
So they said, "Has the Lord
indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through
us also?" And the Lord heard it. (Now the man Moses was
very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the
earth.) ....
... I speak with him face to
face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the
form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak
against My servant Moses?" So the anger of the Lord was
aroused against them, and He departed. And when the cloud
departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became
leprous, as white as snow...
So Moses cried out to the
Lord, saying, "Please heal her, O God, I pray!" Then the
Lord said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face,
would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of
the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received
again."
1Pe 2:17 NKJV
Honor all people. Love the
brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
