GOD DON’T MAKE NO JUNK 10/23/07
Today I heard some strange riddles. It took 2 days to
understand but it all came together perfectly. The Lord
talks to us in parts and pieces and then the more we
ponder and search, the more we receive as the pieces
come together. I think I will share this with you as it
unfolded instead of telling the punchline first.
1 Cor 13:8-10 NKJV
For we know in part and we prophesy in part . But
when that which is perfect has come, then that which is
in part will be done away.
NAP EXCERPT HEARD: God don’t make no junk.
HEARD: I believe that once a turtle, always a
turtle. Just move at your own pace and we will stick
with you.

UPDATE UNDERSTANDING 10/25/07: Today I was doing
a search on the website for turtles wondering what the
Lord meant and came across the same Post I had briefly
looked at yesterday, Release the Sons. I knew that must
be the missing link to the mystery riddle I heard a
couple days ago. The post was about Heidi Baker’s
story. She is called to Africa and literally searches
the garbage dumps to find children, bring them home and
adopt them. I noticed that when it rains, they have to
travel through the mud and sometimes they get stuck in
the mud like turtles.
Heidi has been a forerunner role model in walking out
the loving power of the gospels in a very difficult land
of flood, famine and disease. Heidi is walking out a
road map for the rest of us, showing us the children who
test God’s love and her comfort zone for relating with
them and walking with them, living with them. She has
reached a generation of garbage children who are now
walking the same walk of the loving power of the
gospels.
QUICKENED QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE: “Her sons were
given keys to their trucks and went to the villages and
distributed food, preached the gospel, healed the sick
and carried on the work. She said, “These are my
sons! These were the garbage children who only knew
stealing and violence. These are the thieves and the
prostitutes.” You never heard such a precious mom’s
heart when she said, These are my sons! This was her cup
of joy.”
RECYCLING GARBAGE QUICKENED PARABLE: I have a
friend who works in the recycling business. She goes
around finding other business’s garbage, purchases it
and then sells it to be recycled. It is the most
wonderful parable of how God purchases our lives, our
mistakes, our garbage, through sending His beautiful Son
Jesus to shed His blood for us, so that we could be
redeemed and back in right standing with Him. He goes
out and searches for us in the trash heaps of the world,
pays what was most valuable to Him, takes us home,
washes us, clothes us, feeds us and then raises us up as
His very one children to rule and reign with Him on the
earth. WOW, God don’t make no junk! God makes His sons,
His jewels.
Rev 5:9-10 NKJV
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of
every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have
made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign
on the earth."
Titus 2:13-14 NKJV
Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He
might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for
Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Mal 3:17 NKJV
"They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the
day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them
as a man spares his own son who serves him." |
