GOD HARDENS AND SOFTENS
HEARTS
RHEMA 11/05/06 I ALONE HARDEN AND SOFTEN HEARTS
HEARD REOCCURRING SONG: Too much talkin’ and
not enough walkin’ it out.
ANOINTED HANDS: Now grant me favor. Please put
it into the king’s heart to be kind to me. Second
chance. To authenticate a prophesy. Your Words are
what sustains me. They bring me great joy and are my
heart’s delight.
CONFIRMATION CAME IN TODAY:
Someone sent me the following question today and it was
a confirmation to the anointed hands:
“On a completely different vein, do you know offhand
where the scripture is, that talks about ..."... God
changing the heart of a King"? I looked thru the
concordance tonight under 'king' and under 'heart' ...
with no success.”
Prov 21:1 NKJV
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the
rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.
UPDATE HEARD 11/17/06: I harden hearts and I
soften hearts and it is for My purpose. Courage.
WORD TO PONDER: THE HEART OF THE KING IS IN MY HAND
11/05/06
Yes, I have sent you, sweet one, and you have learned
the lessons that favor is not to come from men, but from
Me. I alone am Supreme, ruling over the affairs of
men. I alone harden and soften hearts according to My
own good will and pleasure. This seems an enigma that I
give the gift of free will and place Myself within those
boundaries to allow such. It is because of My love that
I do so. And yet, I bring all through its proper
channels and pressures, knowing exactly what it takes to
align the will and the heart of the one from whom you
need favor. Simply look to Me to change the heart of
the “king,” and know the Source of Who it is that
extends the scepter in your direction. Let us work
carefully together through the channels and pressures
until we accomplish our goal. I have sent you, but you
are never alone. I AM working together with you behind
the scenes.
Prov 21:1 NKJV
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the
rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.
GOD RULES OVER KINGS
~~ All Kings ~~
Prov 21:1 NKJV
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the
rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.
Ps 2:1-4 NKJV
Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain
thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the
rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and
against His Anointed, saying, "Let us break Their bonds
in pieces and cast away Their cords from us." He who
sits in the heavens shall laugh; The LORD shall hold
them in derision.
~~ Pharoah ~~
Ex 4:21 NKJV
And the LORD said to Moses, "When you go back to Egypt,
see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I
have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so
that he will not let the people go.
Pharoahs heart was hardened: Exodus 4:21, 7:3, 7:13, 14,
7:22, 8:15, 8:19, 8:32, 9:7, 9:12, 9:34, 9:35, 10:20,
10:27, 11:10, 14:4, 14:8
Ex 9:16 NLT
Exodus 10:1 KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I
have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants,
that I might shew these my signs before him:
But I have let you live for this reason--that you might
see my power and that my fame might spread throughout
the earth.
~~ Sihon king of Heshbon ~~
Deuteronomy 2:30 KJV
But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him:
for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his
heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy
hand, as appeareth this day.
~~ Ahab ~~
1 Kings 22:19-23 NLT
Then Micaiah continued, "Listen to what the LORD says! I
saw the LORD sitting on his throne with all the armies
of heaven around him, on his right and on his left. And
the LORD said, `Who can entice Ahab to go into battle
against Ramoth-gilead so that he can be killed there?'
There were many suggestions, until finally a spirit
approached the LORD and said, `I can do it!' " `How
will you do this?' the LORD asked. "And the spirit
replied, `I will go out and inspire all Ahab's prophets
to speak lies.' " `You will succeed,' said the LORD. `Go
ahead and do it.' "So you see, the LORD has put a lying
spirit in the mouths of your prophets. For the LORD has
determined disaster for you."
~~ Saul ~~
1 Sam 16:14-16 NLT
Now the Spirit of the LORD had left Saul, and the LORD
sent a tormenting spirit that filled him with depression
and fear. Some of Saul's servants suggested a remedy.
"It is clear that a spirit from God is tormenting you,"
they said. "Let us find a good musician to play the harp
for you whenever the tormenting spirit is bothering you.
The harp music will quiet you, and you will soon be well
again."
~~ David ~~
1 Chron 29:11-12 NLT
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory,
the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens
and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom.
We adore you as the one who is over all things. Riches
and honor come from you alone, for you rule over
everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is
at your discretion that people are made great and given
strength.
~~ Amaziah ~~
2 Chron 25:16 NKJV
So it was, as he talked with him, that the king said to
him, "Have we made you the king's counselor? Cease! Why
should you be killed?" Then the prophet ceased, and
said, "I know that God has determined to destroy you,
because you have done this and have not heeded my
advice."
~~ Solomon ~~
1 Chron 22:6-10 NLT
Then David sent for his son Solomon and instructed him
to build a Temple for the LORD, the God of Israel. "I
wanted to build a Temple to honor the name of the LORD
my God," David told him. "But the LORD said to me, `You
have killed many men in the great battles you have
fought. And since you have shed so much blood before me,
you will not be the one to build a Temple to honor my
name. But you will have a son who will experience peace
and rest. I will give him peace with his enemies in all
the surrounding lands. His name will be Solomon, and I
will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign. He
is the one who will build a Temple to honor my name. He
will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will
establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel
forever.'
~~ Rehoboam ~~
2 Chron 10:13-15 NLT
But Rehoboam spoke harshly to them, for he rejected the
advice of the older counselors and followed the counsel
of his younger advisers. He told the people, "My father
was harsh on you, but I'll be even harsher! My father
used whips on you, but I'll use scorpions!" So the king
paid no attention to the people's demands. This turn of
events was the will of God, for it fulfilled the
prophecy of the LORD spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat by
the prophet Ahijah from Shiloh.
~~ Nebuchadnezzar ~
Dan 4:28-37 NLT
"But all these things did happen to King Nebuchadnezzar.
Twelve months later, he was taking a walk on the flat
roof of the royal palace in Babylon. As he looked out
across the city, he said, `Just look at this great city
of Babylon! I, by my own mighty power, have built this
beautiful city as my royal residence and as an
expression of my royal splendor.' "While he was still
speaking these words, a voice called down from heaven,
`O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are
no longer ruler of this kingdom. You will be driven from
human society. You will live in the fields with the wild
animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven
periods of time will pass while you live this way, until
you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of
the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.' "That
very same hour the prophecy was fulfilled, and
Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate
grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of
heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as
eagles' feathers and his nails were like birds' claws.
"After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked
up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and
worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives
forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is
eternal. All the people of the earth are nothing
compared to him.He has the power to do as he pleases
among the angels of heaven and with those who live on
earth. No one can stop him or challenge him, saying, `What
do you mean by doing these things?' "When my sanity
returned to me, so did my honor and glory and kingdom.
My advisers and officers sought me out, and I was
reestablished as head of my kingdom, with even greater
honor than before. "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and
glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are
just and true, and he is able to humble those who are
proud."
Jer 27:4-6 NLT
By my great power I have made the earth and all its
people and every animal. I can give these things of mine
to anyone I choose. Now I will give your countries to
King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who is my servant. I
have put everything, even the wild animals, under his
control.
~~Ahaz ~~
Isa 7:5-7 NLT
Yes, the kings of Aram and Israel are coming against
you. They are saying, `We will invade Judah and throw
its people into panic. Then we will fight our way into
Jerusalem and install the son of Tabeel as Judah's
king.' "But this is what the Sovereign LORD says: This
invasion will never happen
~~ Hezekiah ~~
Isa 38:1-8 NLT
About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the
prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave
the king this message: "This is what the LORD says: Set
your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You
will not recover from this illness." When Hezekiah heard
this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the
LORD, "Remember, O LORD, how I have always tried to be
faithful to you and do what is pleasing in your sight."
Then he broke down and wept bitterly.
Then this message came to Isaiah from the LORD: "Go back
to Hezekiah and tell him, `This is what the LORD, the
God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your
prayer and seen your tears. I will add fifteen years to
your life, and I will rescue you and this city from the
king of Assyria. Yes, I will defend this city. " `And
this is the sign that the LORD will give you to prove he
will do as he promised: I will cause the sun's shadow to
move ten steps backward on the sundial of Ahaz!' " So
the shadow on the sundial moved backward ten steps.
~~ Artaxerxes ~~
Ezra 7:27-28 NKJV
Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such
a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the
house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, and has
extended mercy to me before the king and his counselors,
and before all the king's mighty princes.
~~ Herod Antipas, Pontius Pilatem the Gentiles and
Israel ~~
Acts 4:27-28 NLT
That is what has happened here in this city! For Herod
Antipas, Pontius Pilate the governor, the Gentiles, and
the people of Israel were all united against Jesus, your
holy servant, whom you anointed. In fact, everything
they did occurred according to your eternal will and
plan.
~~ Pilate ~~
John 19:10-11 NKJV
Then Pilate said to Him, "Are You not speaking to me? Do
You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power
to release You?" Jesus answered, "You could have no
power at all against Me unless it had been given you
from above.
