HEARD:  Road map.  Vision. 

VISION:  I saw ants marching across a bridge and knew it meant to prepare for winter.

Prov 30:24-25 NKJV

There are four things which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise:  The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer;

Prov 6:6-11  NLT

Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! 7 Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, 8 they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.

Saw and Heard:  I saw a procession of angels marching to the music, “How great thou Art.”

Eccl 4:9-12

Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.  10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.  11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?  12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. 

INTERP: In the long range, the Lord is calling all to prepare for winter season that will come upon the whole earth. In the short range, He is calling us to prepare for crossing over this winter. This is in the Sovereignty of the Lord God ushering in His kingdom.

AN ARK IN WINTER  (1991)

Even in the midst of cold circumstances, I promise to protect you.  Like Noah, be diligent and prepare an ark.  Keep a record of My Words, and use them to build a safe place.  For My Words are a strong refuge from any storm.  My Words will grasp you safely in an environment of faith.  In spite of the howling winds and rain, you will be warmly nestled inside the comfort of My Words.

If you are faithful to build this ark, I will use you to provide shelter for your loved ones.  They will be fed and cared for during the winter season.  When the winter is over, the rainbow of My promises will shine brightly.  You will look back upon the ark of My Words, and know that I have been faithful to keep them safely through to fulfillment.

“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; …”  (Hebrews 11:7)
