10/02/18 A HELPING HAND – THE GIFT OF HELPS

10/05/18 FUNNY HELPING HAND
6 days a week I take Anna into her chair to the dining room
when I bring her back to assisted living. Today we were 5
minutes early and so her table and most of the dining room
was empty. The waitresses were not there yet. As I sat her
in the chair another lady at an empty table called me over
and asked me to push her in. Another table asked me to put
her bib on. Another lady at another empty table told me
there were no straws. I went over to the cubby hole and
found a straw and brought it to her. By the time I got back
to Anna she was laughing! She had been watching me go
around like a little bee and said, “That is my daughter
HELPER.” Immediately the Lord reminded me that my name
Sandy means Helper of mankind. I did think it was pretty
funny too. This has happened before for other issues not in
the dining room. I guess because I am there every day they
think I am one of the caretakers!
I wished that I had better health so I could volunteer there
and help these precious people. They have really touched my
heart and I call many of them by name and talk to them as
often as I can. The other day Anna was downstairs at dinner
and I was putting her summer clothes in her drawers and
hanging her winter clothes up. It was really hot in her
room so I had her door opened. Bill passed by and talked to
me and I cheered him and he cheered me. It is such a
precious place. I was totally exhausted by the heat and
working on her clothes and by the time I got to the car and
I realized how much my stamina had fallen. Lord please help
me get my health back so I can give more!
HELPING IN PRAYER
Almost 100% of the time I get into the elevator and also
walk the hall at Anna’s assisted living, I pray and release
GRACE, GRACE, GRACE to fill the elevator and the halls. I
thank the Lord for driving out the demons and releasing the
angels into those hallways. I release the Presence and
strength of the Lord to abide in those halls. I swish my
hands and raise them. I don’t think anyone has seen me yet,
but I am the crazy lady releasing His light into that
place. I want this place to help Anna as much as they can
and know my prayers make a difference for her and all those
living there.
WORD TO PONDER SHED YOUR LIGHT LIBERALLY 10/02/18
Dear hearts, please do not focus on what you do not have to
give. Don’t turn inward from your losses. It doesnt matter
what you give, where you give or how much you give. Every
little thing that you do from a heart of loving passion
makes a difference. Liberally spread all that I have given
you and pour it out onto others. Freely receive, freely
give. ENJOY the process of giving simply and seeing it
multiply! When you live a death to self life, I will
multiply everything you do to bloom your little world around
you.
1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church,
first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,
after that miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps, governments,
diversities of tongues.
Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none;
but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth rise up and walk.
