12/21/08 HIDDEN IN CHRIST
heard:
I have hidden you.
QUICKENED REMEMBRANCE: I remembered what Graham
Cooke said about being wrapped in the arms of Jesus.
Graham Cooke’s vision was about hiding in the secret
place and being totally still in His arms. It is a
place where you are wrapped up in Him and void of all
fear and unrest.
In his vision, the demonic were chasing him, and
suddenly he saw the Lord and ran into His arms and
obeyed Him about being still. The demonic raced right
past Graham and could not see him. It was like going
into a transparent shower curtain, when his enemies were
chasing him. He became invisible and they couldnt find
him. He was enveloped in the Presence of the Lord. He
could still hear the enemy curses, and rampaging
violence all around him, but he had The Lord’s arms
around him; and in his left ear, he heard a still small
voice – God’s voice – and it was just a chuckle. God
chuckled and said, “Look at that!”
The Lord began speaking to Graham about the secret place
that this secret place is secret because the enemy does
not know about it, and it is inside of you. [

Col 3:1-7
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the
right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not
on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is
hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our
life appears, then you also will appear with Him in
glory. 5 Therefore put to death your members which are
on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil
desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because
of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons
of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked
when you lived in them.
HID: To conceal secretly by covering
krupto
NT:2928 krupto (kroop'-to); a primary verb; to conceal
(properly, by covering):
KJV - hide (self), keep secret, secret [-ly].
WITH: To be in union with or together, companion,
completeness
NT:4862
NT:4862 sun (soon); a primary preposition denoting
union; with or together (but much closer than
NT:3326 or NT:3844), i.e. by association, companionship,
process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality,
addition, etc.:
KJV - beside, with. In composition it has similar
applications, including completeness.
When the Lord reminded me of Graham being inside a
shower curtain, He brought back the memory that the
feast of Tabernacles were little tents or booths that
people lived in. This is a symbol of our dwelling with
God Who is inside us. God literally covers us when we
are in companionship with Him.
Ps 27:5-65 NKJV
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His
pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall
hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my
head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His
tabernacle ;I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the
LORD.
Ezek 37:26-28 NKJV
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them,
and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I
will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My
sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27 My tabernacle
also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and
they shall be My people. 28 The nations also will know
that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is
in their midst forevermore.
CONFIRMATION: Tonight after my having done
today’s study on being hidden in Christ, and covered,
some emailed me their dream they had today. At the end,
she said the following: “There were like curtains that
went around me, so no one could see me….Hidden.. I
wanted “alone time” and just sleep time.” |
