PARABLE: HOT CIDER
I love to put on a big crock pot of apple cider when we
have family gatherings. I add cinnamon sticks, whole
cloves and sliced oranges and sliced lemons. It simmers
all day and the house smells out of this world. When
everyone goes home, I pour what is left and put it into
the fridge. It is excellent cold. Sometimes I reheat a
cup in the microwave and sip on it all morning.
The smell reminds me of Song of Solomon
Song 4:16
Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my
garden, That its spices may flow out. Let my beloved
come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.
Song 5:13
His cheeks are like a bed of spices...
Song 4:10
How much better than wine is your love, And the scent
of your perfumes than all spices!
WORD TO PONDER: HEAVENLY SPICES 11/23/09
Warm and inviting, so fragrant are you, My love. Your
spices permeate your whole house and I love to live with
you. Thank you for inviting Me into your life and
giving Me the fullest pleasure of supping with you, whom
I adore.
Rev 3:20-21 NKJV
Behold, I stand at the door and knock . If anyone
hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him
and dine with him, and he with Me.
Song 4:16
Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my
garden, That its spices may flow out. Let my beloved
come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.
