RHEMA 2/13/08  HOW TO OVERCOME FAMINE FOR HEARING GOD SPEAK

VISION:  I saw a toddler in diapers.  I was concerned for him because his diaper was dry, so he had not been drinking his liquids.  And he had one tiny round poop, as though he had eaten one bite of food.  In his diaper was a little bit of fresh blood as though coming from his hurting stomach.  His lip curled down and he cried without wet tears and said, “I miss my heavenly Father!” 

He did not like his diaper and wanted it off and yet he did not want us to change him when we tried to remove it.  We set him in a tub of water and he did not want to be washed either.  I realized that he had been a picky eater, drinker and did not want to deal with his issues and be cleansed and that is why he missed his heavenly Father; he had refused to eat what had been offered him.

HEARD:  No more.  Sometimes I grapple with this.  Issues.  At the forum, you flow so easily. 

HEARD:  In the land of the living. 

Job 28:11-13; 20,21 NKJV

He dams up the streams from trickling; What is hidden he brings forth to light. "But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?  Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.. ....20 "From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all living... And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.”

Ps 27:4-14

One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.. .7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When You said, "Seek My face, "My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek." 9 Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me.  11 Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. 12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. 13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living .  14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!   

HEARD:  Rule, you have got to fast and pray. Tell them I’m sorry.  Tell them it’s possible.  Use the whole box, not just one.  Come home to the foot of the cross.  And I will comfort you.  Grace.

QUICKENED MEMORY:  The Holy Spirit immediately brought back the memory of the above allegory I had written about God and My Box of Crayons; using the whole box of crayons when hearing God and repenting of taking out the colors we dont like in the box, for when we do that, it shades and limits our lives to the point we no longer see Him as He is or hear Him as He intends.

Mark 4:24-25 AMP

And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure {of thought and study} you give {to the truth you hear} will be the measure {of virtue and knowledge} that comes back to you — and more {besides} will be given to you who hear.  For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away {by force}.

WORD TO PONDER:  BREAKING THE FAMINE FOR HEARING  2/13/08

Beloved I have heard your cries for intimacy to hear My voice and see My face.  Sometimes My love for you is better than what you think of Me. I have not abandoned you dear one, I have never forsaken you.  I allowed you a season in your life of fasted famine for hearing, so that you would repent of limiting Me and grow hungry enough to receive more of Who I AM.  I am so sorry of the pain this has caused you.

Thank you for taking the time to press in and seek My face.  I have heard your cries.  My only request is that you lay down your mindsets of how I want to speak into your life, and release your limitations of Who I AM.  As you lay your failings down at the foot of the cross, and return to what you rejected before, this famine for hearing will break over your life.  Dear one, the more you embrace what I give, the more you will be given.  Ask for My grace to swallow the cup that has been offered you.
