I THOUGHT OF YOU 2,000 YEARS AGO 8/06/06
When I was in the Garden sweating drops of blood, seeing
the cross before Me was too painful to face. Then I saw
your face and your own pain as you so willing listened
to Me, wanting to follow Me, and yet could not face your
own cross either. Oh how you drew My heart! Love found
a way for you, love found a way. My Father revealed
your need to Me during My worst agony on earth, and as I
swallowed His will and the cup He offered, I willing
laid My life down as a sacrifice.
Isa 53:10-11 NKJV
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him
to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He
shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the
pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall
see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. |
