1/13/12  FELLOWSHIP IMPROVES WHEN YOU OBEY

Today I was pondering the peaceful fruit of righteousness.  When we are corrected, it produces an ability to walk in peace safe from our enemies. 

Heb 12:7-13 NKJV

If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. 12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

OVERCOMING DREAD:  When I go through season of warfare because there is breach in my hedge, I dread going to sleep.  Not only that but my fellowship with the Lord is stolen.  As I was pondering that I turned with anointed hands to the following:

WHEN YOU LISTEN YOU ARE SECURE  5/02/09

Humble one, through much correction you have learned to listen to My counsel, rebukes and grow in the fear of the Lord.  My precious child, your training has produced the peaceful fruit of righteousness and I AM so very pleased. I have promised that because you have listened, you will dwell safely and be secure, without fear of evil.

Prov 1:33 NKJV

But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil."

Isa 22:23 NKJV

I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, and he will become a glorious throne to his father's house.

Isa 32:16-19 NKJV

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.  The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.  My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,  Though hail comes down on the forest, and the city is brought low in humiliation.
