IN SEARCH OF JESUS' SECOND ANOINTING  6/24/10

Quickened Scripture:   Jesus Had 2 Anointings

After 2 years of being very sick and too sick to travel, I had just finished taking a heroic adventure to travel out of town, to receive hands on prayer at a church that is on the front lines pressing for healing and they also have a healing room. When the Healing Rooms were first started by Cal Pierce, I have believed all these years that the healing rooms were set up by the Lord as an intercession to bring healing back to the body of Christ.  Just think of it, every week intercessors of the healthy and the sick are gathering together in unity for healings to manifest and people would be set free.  As I was pondering my healing room experience and understanding that we were still in intercession, my eyes fell on the following scripture:

Acts 10:38-39  NKJV

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

REVELATION:  In context to just having experienced the healing rooms and also a forerunner church that is standing for healing, I suddenly realized what is missing. 

I have experienced the true power of God in meetings, where I shook and vibrated where every cell in my body felt like it was plugged into a light socket.  I have heard the inner audible voice of God and experienced the same.  I have personally experienced the POWER of God.  So when I was being prayed for, the Holy Spirit was so precious, like gentle waves washing in the ocean.  And if I were to have compared it to electricity, it was like tiny trickles passing through. 

I read that scripture and saw that Jesus was anointed with 1) the Holy Spirit AND 2) with power.  As a people, we are on a quest for the power of God. 

PRAYER:  Lord we Your people are searching the world over for Your power to return to the earth and remain.  Lord let us be Your resting place.  Inhabit us Lord, infuse us with Your power.  Many of Your children are sick and in agony, waiting for Your delivering hand.  They cry day and night waiting and praying, asking and believing.  Bring back Your power Lord, bring back Your power!  Come Holy Spirit, You are welcome in our midst.  Come Holy Spirit, pour out upon us.  Let us walk worthy of being entrusted with Your power.  Let Your love within us be equal to the power we yearn for.  Oh God raise up a chosen generation, thoroughly equipped to walk the earth with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and with power. Let us go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for You are with us, in Jesus Name.

Ps 62:11 NKJV

God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God.

Ps 63:1-2 NKJV

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.
