INTERCESSION FOR
DAVID AND MICHAL 11/12/06
A spirit of weeping
came over me at church tonight. I felt the deep pain of
those marriages who are unequally yoked where the men
have loved the Presence and anointing of God and they
have been called fools and were despised by way of
demonic forces through their loved ones. I wept deep,
deep sobs over their pain, as they have sacrificed so
deeply in yearnings for their brides to follow them in
ushering in the ark of God’s Presence. At one point I
saw a man in a bridal white tux carrying his bride in
his arms with so much labor because he did not want to
leave her behind.
Earlier during worship,
I heard the demonic continue to say, “fool!” and I saw a
huge rock in the path. I understood the rock was the
stone of offense where those who were willing to be
fools for Jesus had become rocks to stumble the
religious people and who were branded as fools. It was
not until I felt David’s heart for his bride, who had
looked down upon him and despised the purity of his
abandoned worship, did I understand that he was a type
of the fool for Jesus. He had chosen to be nakedly
transparent in his testimony of his love and pursuit of
the Lord and suffered deeply for it.
I saw how many men had
moved forward in God a few paces, then once again
offered liberal sacrifices. I understood that many men
have walked out an intercession with the heart of Jesus
over His beloved Bride, to carry her, stir her, wake
her, draw her out of religion, and into intimacy with
Him to become equally yoked with Him. They were doing
so at great, great cost.
I asked forgiveness for
all those despisers who dethroned the Word of God. I
asked forgiveness for all those who dared to call common
that which was holy. I asked for mercy over those who
had despised those who wholeheartedly responded to God’s
Presence. I sobbed and wept and prayed. I knew the
Holy Spirit had become grieved. I begged the Lord for
the unequally yoked marriages, that He would give the
Michals a second chance. That He would deliver them
from despising the Holy Spirit and give them
altercations just like He did Saul on the road to
Damascus. I felt no answer to this prayer as though it
was closed and this made me cry more.
Then the Spirit of
prophesy came upon me and I saw that David was covered
with fool’s gold. As the ark of His Presence was
ushered into the city, the gold from the ark began to
replace the fool’s gold and cover David with the pure
gold. And when David became pure gold like the ark, he
had the heart of God’s mercy seat within him. I saw
that all David chose to touch would turn to gold and it
was given to David the choice to touch anyone he chose
with God’s golden Presence, including his wife with
golden mercy. If she received, she would receive
through her husband at his hand. It was his right to
give or withhold and I saw the power of intercession as
it truly was - over those whose hands and mouths are not
innocent.
REVELATION:
Later as I thought about the intercession, I remembered
that Michal was the daughter of Saul. There has been a
long war between the house of Saul and the house of
David. Throughout the years, the Holy Spirit has become
very grieved with those who took His anointing and
placed it under their own control and for their own
gain. Thus His fresh anointing and outpouring has
turned to the house of David. It is in the anointing of
David, that He will bring in the blessing of His
Presence and bring mercy to all who repent from the
house of Saul.
2 Sam 6:13-16 NKJV
And so it was, when
those bearing the ark of the LORD had gone six paces,
that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. Then David
danced before the LORD with all his might; and David
was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of
Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and
with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the
LORD came into the City of David, Michal, Saul's
daughter, looked through a window and saw King David
leaping and whirling before the LORD; and she despised
him in her heart.
Job 22:25-30 NKJV
Yes, the Almighty
will be your gold and your precious silver; For then you
will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your
face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, He will
hear you, and you will pay your vows. You will also
declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So
light will shine on your ways. When they cast you down,
and you say, 'Exaltation will come!' Then He will save
the humble person. He will even deliver one who is not
innocent; Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of
your hands." |
