INTERCESSION OVER WILD SONS AND THE FEAR OF THE LORD
7/07/09
HEARD:
Your brother. You still defend him. I want you to
tell him something for me.
COMMENTS: This intercession was in regards to a
brother who continued to return to sin and begged for my
prayers for healing and deliverance. I have felt that
unless he developed his own deep sense of desperation
and temperance, he would not have the will to keep out
the demons should he be delivered, and 7 much worse
demons would come in instead. So I have earnestly
prayed and waited on the Lord instead. I have known it
was an intercession for many in the same place, not just
this one person.
Matt 12:43-45 NKJV
"When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes
through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then
he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in
order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other
spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and
dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse
than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked
generation."
HEARD: I have your T-shirts.
PIX: I saw many T-shirts laid out flat with
their arms stretched out and I thought they looked like
being stretched out on crosses.
Matt 16:24-26 NKJV
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires
to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his
cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his
life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My
sake will find it.
HEARD: To be washed.
Zech 3:3-4 NKJV
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was
standing before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to
those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the
filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I
have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe
you with rich robes."
Rev 3:4-5 NKJV
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in
white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be
clothed in white garments , and I will not blot out his
name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name
before My Father and before His angels.
PIX: I saw a wire scour pad.
HEARD: Captain.
Josh 5:13-15 KJV
And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho,
that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold,
there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn
in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto
him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he
said, Nay; but as
captain
of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua
fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said
unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? 15 And
the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose
thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou
standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
DIVINE SIGN: The whole time I was pondering this
rhema, there has been a thunder and lightning over our
house. The fear of God has been trembling inside of me
with every thunder boom. It continued to move over our
house, make a wide circle and then come from the back of
the house and then directly overhead again. It made
this circle several times before finally moving on.
Both Wayne and I felt it was a Word from the Lord about
fearing Him. We were not afraid of the storm. There
was no wind at our level and not much rain. But we
could feel the atmosphere charged with electrical ions
and the thunder was so loud and strong that we could
feel the reverberations in our hearts, just like
subwhoofers cause in loud stereo speakers.
PIX:
I saw a red 3 wheeler motorcycle.
The 3 wheeler is significant. A normal vehicle rides on
4 tires. It is as though this wheeler lost one of its
legs.
Matt 18:8-9 NKJV
"If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off
and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into
life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two
feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.
HEARD:
Put it in gear and move past the past. Bringing sons
into alignment.

PARABLE UPDATE 7/11/09: I watched a movie
tonight called Flicka. It was about a girl who
earnestly defended a wild mustang horse. This caught my
attention because I have visions and rhema in the past
about wild mustangs who represent the wild and
independent sons whom the Lord has been long suffering
in drawing them, lassoing and bringing them in. In the
movie, her father did not want the mustang horse on his
farm as it would pollute his line of thoroughbreds if
they crossbred. I saw the parable of how the Lord wants
a holy people to live in His holy place, and not to be
contaminated by the spirit of the world.
In the end, on a stormy night, a mountain lion attacked
the mustang and brought it down, along with the girl
riding it. (I thought of the parable of the enemy being
a devouring lion.) The family searched and brought her
home and she came down with a 103 fever. No one on the
ranch would go shoot the horse to put it out of its
misery, as they all knew how the girl cared for that
horse.
Finally the dad said he would go shoot it. Before he
got out the door, the girl rose from her sick bed, with
deep circles under her eyes, and wet hair bedraggled
from the stormy night. She stood at the top of the
stairs and saw her Dad with the gun and coat in hand.
She said, “It’s OK Daddy, you can shoot us.” And then
she turned around and went back to bed.
This stunned me, because prior to this, as I was
listening to the Dad speak about the horse and putting
it out of its misery, I asked in my mind, “And would you
shoot your daughter too, to put her out of hers?” He
had been very unrelenting in his refusal to allow this
horse to be on his ranch of Thoroughbreds. So when she
stood at the top of the stairs and said such a
statement, my spirit opened and I understood the
parable. It tore at my heart to see this reenactment of
what it meant to defend the wild, runaway sons, who
refuse to be tamed, who stay independent, and who are
subject to the devouring lion. The Father demands
separation of the holy ones, that their line not be
contaminated with wild blood. I understood the
difference between the Holy Place and those who are
walking in sin and barely live in the outer court.
These wild sons will learn the fear of God and He will
circle over their lives until they make their decision
to relent or be lost.
Job 22:30 NKJV
He will even deliver one who is not innocent; Yes, he
will be delivered by the purity of your hands.
Ps 106:23 NKJV
Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not
Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach, to
turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.
Ex 32:14 NKJV
So the LORD relented from the harm which He said He
would do to His people.
Ezek 22:30-31 NKJV
So I sought for a man among them who would make a
wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the
land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
31 Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I
have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have
recompensed their deeds on their own heads," says the
Lord GOD.
Jer 5:1 AMP
RUN TO and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and
see now and take notice! Seek in her broad squares to
see if you can find a man [as Abraham sought in Sodom],
one who does justice, who seeks truth, sincerity, and
faithfulness; and I will pardon [Jerusalem — for one
uncompromisingly righteous person]. [Gen 18:22-32.]
Heb 2:10-13 NKJV
For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things
and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to
glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect
through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and
those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which
reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12
saying: "I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the
midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You." 13 And
again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here
am I and the children whom God has given Me..."
Heb 2:16-18 NLT
...We all know that Jesus came to help the
descendants of Abraham, not to help the angels. 17
Therefore, it was necessary for Jesus to be in every
respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he
could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before
God. He then could offer a sacrifice that would take
away the sins of the people. 18 Since he himself has
gone through suffering and temptation, he is able to
help us when we are being tempted.
PS: The Dad could not bring himself to shoot the
horse, instead he called the vet and they brought him
back to health once again. And yes, the horse stayed on
the ranch in its own corral. (smile) |
