RHEMA 1/02/07 INTERCESSION: REMEMBER PETER
The Lord has been strongly talking to me about Peter who
has been running from his calling. He has talked to me
many years about this, but it has progressed in
intensity since the last quarter of 2005.
Recently He told me about Peter's betrayal, after having
walked so closely to Him for a season. I had been in
painful intercession over this fact. And someone sent
me a Word today about that. It was very comforting.
=====
Hi Sandy, I had a wonderful dream about you early this
morning. It was short, but nice. I dreamed you were in
sorrow over someone. I was praying for you in the dream
and the Lord reminded me of the hurricane documentary I
had seen, a hurricane was traveling very slowly, at 10
miles and hour, but INSIDE unseen it was going 100+
miles an hour. I heard the Lord say," Don't judge by
how fast a person is progressing by what is seen on the
outside." Then He said, "Ask her if she remembers
Peter!"
I told you the above in the dream and I asked if you
remembered the disciple Peter, you got very hopeful and
excited!
{end of dream}
=====
This was a very encouraging Word to me in perfect timing
to my intercessions. The part about the hurricane was
really quickened to me. When a person is being sifted,
they are hurled in a counter clock wise storm inspired
by the demonic. The closer they are to the Lord during
this time, they will be carried right in the center of
it and be sustained in great peace. However the farther
they run from His eye, the greater the hurling forces
are and the sifting becomes very painful if they run
away. I have had several visions of those whirlwinds
and each time it was a warning from the Lord to stay in
obedience.
Luke 22:31-34 NKJV
And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has
asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I
have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail;
and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your
brethren." But he said to Him, "Lord, I am ready to go
with You, both to prison and to death." Then He said, "I
tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day
before you will deny three times that you know Me."
=====
CONFIRMATION: As I looked up the scripture and
read this: "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" it
was strongly quickened to me that Simon was Jonah's son.
The word Jonah practically attacked me, it was so
strong. I have never once seen that word before in
connection with Peter.
Then later as I was talking about hurricanes to this
lady who had sent me the above dream, she said, "Also,
Simon son of JONAH leaped out at me. Jonah of the great
fish fame and Ninivah sort of grabbed my attention
here. I do NOT think it is a coincidence that his sir
name was JONAH."
So her response was a super duper confirmation of the
fact that Peter is definitely Jonah. Boy, he doesn’t
stand much chance does he??
WORD TO
PONDER: PETER WILL RETURN 1/02/07
Having suffered from the fullness of his mindsets and
presumptions, Peter has run from his calling, and denied
the joy of fellowship that he once experienced. The
twisting whirlwinds has hurled him through a sifter to
separate him from the strongholds of his soul and mind.
Sifted and exhausted, he has returned to his old life,
the only life he knew before such a radical life with
Me.
Peter is in My hands and I will rescue this wild one. I
AM faithful to call, and faithful to do it. Peter may
be a very slippery fish, but he will not escape the grip
of My keeping power. I know his heart and know that he
loves Me. I will meet him in the midst of where he has
fled, and with the call of My voice, his shame and
brokenness shall wash away in one clean jump towards
Me. Yes, he must swim to reach Me, but he has the hope
that solid ground is waiting for him and I will meet him
there.
John 21:15-18 NKJV
So
when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon
Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than
these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love
You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." He said to him
again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love
Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love
You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep." He said to him
the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?"
Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time,
"Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know
all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to
him, "Feed My sheep.

Thess 5:24 AMP
Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and
utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His
call by hallowing and keeping you].
Isa 55:8-11 NKJV
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your
ways My ways," says the LORD. "For as the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your
ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. "For as the
rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not
return there, but water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed
to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be
that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me
void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it
shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
