RHEMA 9/17/08 IN THE WILDERNESS TO LISTEN
HEARD: Are you ready to listen?
PIX: I saw someone lean over and tie their
wilderness boots.
HEARD: All about My friends. Someone is
trying so hard.
Hos 2:14-17 AMP
Therefore, behold, I will allure her [Israel] and
bring her into the wilderness, and I will speak tenderly
and to her heart. 15 There I will give her her vineyards
and make the Valley of Achor [troubling] to be for her a
door of hope and expectation. And she shall sing there
and respond as in the days of her youth and as at the
time when she came up out of the land of Egypt. [Ex
15:2; Josh 7:24-26.] 16 And it shall be in that day,
says the Lord, that you will call Me Ishi [my Husband],
and you shall no more call Me Baali [my Baal]. 17 For I
will take away the names of Baalim [the Baals] out of
her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned or
seriously remembered by their name.
Long I have waited for a
generation of lovers who would serve Me out of their
passionate hearts, birthed from intimate and genuine two
way relationship. My people know Me as Lord and Master.
To serve so duty bound is to choose a life imprisoned in
performance.
They have yet to know Me
as Lover and Husband. How I long to connect and
establish bridges of communications that cross their
boundaries of fear and mind-sets and normalcy where all
things are decently in order! True passion is rarely in
order, dear ones. True passion breaks all boundaries of
cultural decency. True passion only knows one way, get
to what matters and die for it when necessary.
The passion I speak of
is much deeper than an emotion of the moment. It comes
from a fire deep inside where the truth burns and
builds, ever stretching to find a way towards
expression. It is in its expression that our mutual joy
is known to the fullest. This brings the consummation of
what you yearn for. I will have a people who will so
love Me, their torches will so love Me nothing will
stand in their way towards expression.
Duty leads to burn out.
It always did, it always will. Passion leads to My
never ending eternal flame.
Hos 2:14-16 NLT
“But then I will win
her back once again. I will lead her out into the desert
and speak tenderly to her there. I will return her
vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble
into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me
there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I
freed her from her captivity in Egypt. “In that coming
day,” says the LORD, “you will call me ‘my husband ‘
instead of ‘my master.’
I was searching for a past Word to Ponder that connected
with today’s Word and when I came to the above one, I
heard the Lord say, “Exactly!” |
