8/19/10 IT IS TIME TO RETURN TO THE FORTRESS
This AM as I was praying over something demonic that
occurred last night, I
HEARD: "It is time to return to the fortress"
so this is the scripture that popped up when I typed in
fortress in the concordance:
2 Sam 22:2-4 NKJV
"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my
deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will
trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My
stronghold and my refuge. My Savior, You save me from
violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to
be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.
WAYNE VISION: He was standing upon a mountain
and below him was a city. He looked directly to the
west. The whole sky was a solid black cloud that was
rolling and boiling. There are no cities to our
west; we are 50 miles from the west coast.
QUICKENED WORD:
Today as I read what a QW class member heard, it really
touched me today.
She heard:
I will protect you. I will defend you. His angels are
around you.
QUICKENED GRAPHIC: Today I was impressed to
share this with someone in our QW Class, when she saw an
ocean jetty being flooded.
PRAYER: Lord if there is a demonic plan being
perpetrated against a west coast city, we ask that You
will raise a standard against it. We ask that you will
stop and defeat the demonic plot in Jesus Name. We
loose the angels to go forth and supernatural
protection. We release creation and the weather
patterns to defeat any demonic plot in the Name of
Jesus. And we cover our lives, families and cities with
the blood of Jesus Christ.
WORD TO PONDER: RETURN TO YOUR FORTRESS 8/19/10
Beloved, when the demonic manifest and you become aware
of what is going on around you, I realize that it can be
traumatizing. I want to speak peace to your soul and
say, "Fear not!" I have heard the cries of your heart
as you run to Me for your safety. I AM your refuge,
your fortress and defense. I have surrounded you with
angels and My shield of defense. I am saving you from
violence and am protecting you. I AM your strength and
your salvation!
2 Sam 22:2-4
"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my
deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold
and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I
will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So
shall I be saved from my enemies.
QUICKENED: Today someone sent me this anonymous
story and I felt it was relevant to today's rhema
CAN YOU SLEEP WHEN THE WIND BLOWS?
Years ago a farmer owned land along the Atlantic
seacoast. He constantly
advertised for hired hands. Most people were reluctant
to work on farms
along the Atlantic. They dreaded the awful storms that
raged across the
Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.
As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he
received a steady
stream of refusals. Finally, a short, thin man, well
past middle age,
approached the farmer. "Are you a good farmhand?" the
farmer asked him.
"Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the
little man. Although
puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help,
hired him.
The little man worked well around the farm, busy from
dawn to dusk, and the
farmer felt satisfied with the man's work. Then one
night the wind howled
loudly in from offshore. Jumping out of bed, the farmer
grabbed a lantern
and rushed next door to the hiredhand's sleeping
quarters. He shook the
little man and yelled, "Get up! A storm is coming! Tie
things down before
they blow away!" The little man rolled over in bed and
said firmly, "No
sir. I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows."
Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire
him on the spot.
Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm. To
his amazement, he
discovered that all of the haystacks had been covered
with tarpaulins.The
cows were in the barn, the chickens were in the coops,
and the doors were
barred. The shutters were tightly secured. Everything
was tied down.
Nothing could blow away. The farmer then understood what
his hired hand
meant, so he returned to his bed to also sleep while the
wind blew.
MORAL: When you're prepared, spiritually, mentally, and
physically, you
have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the wind blows
through your life?
The hired hand in the story was able to sleep because he
had secured the
farm against the storm. We, as believers in Christ,
secure ourselves
against the storms of life by grounding ourselves in the
Word of God. We
don't need to understand, we just need to hold His hand
to have peace in the
midst of the storms.

To our west is the Pacific Ocean and Japan. This is a
turn in history
where life as we know it will never be the same.
Wayne has received serious warning dreams and visions
before. The most remarkable one was the day that our
grandson's life was saved with only minutes to spare.
After Wayne shared his vision with me, we had just
finished praying and rebuking the spirit of death when
we received the phone call. His full color vision that
had the warning of death, but also had promise of
deliverance came to pass.
