REVELATION:  JESUS' PERSONAL WORD FROM HIS FATHER  7/04/10

At Jesus' baptism, the Father declared He was pleased with Jesus even before He began His ministry.  And He validated that Jesus was His beloved Son.  Jesus was immediately driven by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tested by the devil.  He carried the full power and impact of His Father's voice and His love as He faced the devil.  I suddenly realized this was Jesus' personal Word from His Father.  It is interesting that the devil's first words to Jesus were, "IF you are the Son of God...."  Jesus' very Identity was being challenged and the Father knew this ahead of time. 

Mark 1:9-13 NKJV

It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. 11 Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."  Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. 13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.

Luke 4:3 NKJV

And the devil said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."

WORD TO PONDER:  EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED 7/04/10

Precious you are never ill-equipped.  I know exactly what Words and what level of faith you need to carry you through the days to come.  My Word prospers wherever it is sent.  Trust that you are never alone.  Simply keep My Word; chew it, hold on to it, and swallow it so that every part is assimilated and nothing is wasted.  I have a divine purpose for everything I send to you.

John 6:11-13  NKJV

And they all ate as much as they wanted. After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, "Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted."
