LAUGHTER A HIDDEN WEAPON OF STRENGTH
HEARD:
Energy. Hidden weapon. I will strengthen you.
Exodus 15:2-3 The LORD is my strength
and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I
will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will
exalt him. 3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
When things get really bad, laughing
helps me release stress and find joy in simple things, even
bloopers. Sometimes I pop my cork with laughter when things
cant get much worse. I am reminded of the Lord sitting in
heaven and laughing at the enemy. He once told me laughing
is a spiritual weapon. This week I had some times of
hilarity! Who would have thought!
Psalms 2:1-12 Why do the nations rage,
and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the
earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us
break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from
us. 4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord
shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them
in his wrath, and distress them in his great displeasure. 6
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will
declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my
Son; this day have I begotten you. 8 Ask of me, and I shall
give you the nations for your inheritance, and the uttermost
parts of the earth for your possession. 9 You shall break
them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like
a potter's vessel. 10 Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be
instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with
fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he
be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is
kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their
trust in him.
LAUGHING THROUGH YOUR LABOR 5/12/02
Yes I hear
your laughter, and I understand. Go ahead and laugh, for I
am birthing great joy in your life and you shall laugh at
the marvelous works I will do in your midst, and you shall
also laugh that the enemy will be unable to stand against My
work. Your joy shall be made full; ripe, plump and
overflowing. Nothing shall stand against you in that day.
So let the promise of joy begin and laugh all the way
through your labors.
“Then the
LORD did exactly what he had promised. Sarah became
pregnant, and she gave a son to Abraham in his old age. It
all happened at the time God had said it would. And Abraham
named his son Isaac. Eight days after Isaac was born,
Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. Abraham was
one hundred years old at the time. And Sarah declared, "God
has brought me laughter! All who hear about this will laugh
with me. For who would have dreamed that I would ever have
a baby? Yet I have given Abraham a son in his old age!"
