LAYING HANDS ON THE UNCLEAN
I was thinking about the following scripture, because some
think it is a misnomer as to how the church interprets it
regarding praying for unsaved people.
1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands hastily on no man, neither be
partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.
After study, I noticed that most of the translations
translated this in context to scriptures above about an
elder’s sin and laying hands upon to reinstate them. This
is a good correction to know.
1 Timothy 5:22 (AMP) 22 Do not be in a hurry
in the laying on of hands [giving the sanction of the church
too hastily in reinstating expelled offenders or in
ordination in questionable cases], nor share or participate
in another man’s sins; keep yourself pure.
JUST A FOOT WASH ON
THE OUTSIDE
HEARD AND SAW:
So did you wash your hands? I saw someone
bending down to fix something on a lawn mower. Lawn mowers
represent manicuring stuff that needs cut back to the right
boundaries.
I saw a handicapped child that was unclean who was germy
rarely washes her hands and she said, “Sandy. You make a
difference even to me.” I heard the Lord say, Healing is a
part of your message sweetheart. Even when you don’t know
it.
I had been pondering the following
scripture where Jesus washed their feet and said Judas was
not clean.
John 13:8-10 Peter said unto him, You shall never wash my
feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no
part with me. 9 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, not my feet
only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus said to him,
He that is washed needs
not except to wash his feet, but is clean completely:
and you are clean, but
not all.
John 13:10 (AMP) 10 Jesus said to him, Anyone
who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is clean all
over. And you [My disciples] are clean, but not all of you.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but you
are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified
in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 6:11 (AMP) 11 And such some of
you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a
complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of
sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and
you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in
the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit
of our God.

WORD TO PONDER: DEMONIC DOORS AND HE THAT IS WASHED
11/06/15
Dear one, when you pray for the sick and when you lay hands
on the unclean, yes of course wash your hands in the natural
and in the spiritual. Wash them from any germs and demonic
attachments. That is a part of life maintenance and
wisdom. However do not think that you become demonically
polluted by touching those who are in need of prayer.
I have already thoroughly washed you by My atoning blood and
you have been set apart and consecrated unto Me. I have
pronounced you righteous for trusting in My own
righteousness, and you obey Me as you too walk in the same
righteousness. These keep you clean and you need not
concern yourself over demonic doors. They are closed in
your life because you have been washed and consecrated only
to Me.
Even though Judas was counted among the disciples, laying
hands upon the sick and healing them, he was not clean
because he did not believe in Me or My Words. My Word
washes you. I knew from the very
beginning that he did not believe. The devil planted evil
seeds and Judas nurtured them. When the time came the devil
entered in to Judas, but only after I gave him release to go
do what he must do. Trust Me dear hearts to keep you as you
pray for the unclean!
John 13:8-11 Peter said unto him, You shall never wash my
feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no
part with me. 9 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, not my feet
only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus said to him,
He that is washed needs not except to wash his feet, but is
clean completely: and you are clean, but not all. 11 For he
knew who should betray him; therefore said he, You are not
all clean.
Ephesians 5:26 That he might
sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the
word. |
