8/10/09 TO LEARN OBEDIENCE
HEARD:
Do
you think I can trust you with My power? To withhold it
when I tell you to.
2 Cor 4:7-10 NKJV
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that
the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we
are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not
forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed — 10 always
carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus,
that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our
body.
2 Cor 12:9-10 NKJV
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore
most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I
take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs,
in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For
when I am weak, then I am strong.
John 5:30 NKJV
I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear , I judge; and
My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own
will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
John 5:19-20 NKJV
Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most
assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of
Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He
does, the Son also does in like manner.

WORD TO PONDER: PARTNERSHIP AND OBEDIENCE 8/10/09
Precious one, I have been raising you up to learn how to
partner with My heart in ushering My kingdom upon
earth. Much of how I have trained you, is for your own
growth and overcoming and thus, I have given you
instructions to use what I give you with your own
volunteer, free will. These gifts I have given you to
steward. This is just like when Peter looked at the
lame man and gave him what he had to give. I have
given you freedom to share or withhold, and liberty in
how you share. I have sent angels to back and partner
with you, as you have leaned upon Me to release the
treasures I give.
There is yet a deeper level of maturity that I AM
building within you and that is obedience for greater
works. As your faith grows in My voice, and you learn
to obey, you will be given specific assignments where
you do nothing without hearing what I say first. Can I
trust you with My power? You will learn to walk even as
I walked in only doing what I saw My Father do. This
new training for greater works is dependant upon what I
show you.
As a warning, when the greater works come, there will be
some who will be promoted as superstars in signs and
wonders, and they will use My power independently
without abiding in Me and walking in My will. You shall
know them by their fruits of the flesh and what is
lacking in the fruits of My Spirit.
Acts 3:6 KJV
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but
such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth rise up and walk.
John 5:19-21 NKJV
Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most

loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself
does; and He will show Him greater works than these,
that you may marvel.
Gal 5:19-23 AMP
Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear
(obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, 20
Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill
temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party
spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions,
heresies), 21 Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the
like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously,
that those who do such things shall not inherit the
kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit
[the work which His presence within accomplishes] is
love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper,
forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence),
faithfulness,
23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control
(self-restraint, continence). Against such things there
is no law [that can bring a charge]. |
